Crichton brings six years of rowing experience with her to The Mesa including four seasons as a rower at Kansas State. During her four years as a competitor with the Wildcats Crichton rowed in all boat categories at various times, including the first eight, second eight, four and novice eight. While at KSU Crichton participated in the San Diego Crew Classic on three occasions and also found success at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association championships, as well as the Sunshine State Games.

Following her competitive rowing days, Crichton spent a part of one season as an undergraduate assistant with the Wildcats, followed by a one-year stint as a volunteer assistant coach. Crichton[apos]s many duties included coaching the KSU redshirt freshman team, novice crews, as well as the varsity four. Crichton, who received a bachelor[apos]s degree in marketing in 2011, also worked as a sales and marketing team representative for GTM Sportswear in Manhattan, Kan.

Crichton is a native of Oak Grove, Missouri, and was a three-sport athlete at Oak Grove High School. During her prep career, Crichton was a four-time all-state award winner in track and also participated in basketball and volleyball.
