Competed in seven tournaments, six as a starter, in her freshman season… Had a scoring average of 76.7 and a count percentage of .618 (10.5-17)… Shot a career-best 225 (+9) twice. First at the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational March 7-8 (73-76-75) and then two weeks later at the PING/ASU Invitational March 25-27 (75-78-72), which earned her the second best score among Aztecs… Shot a career-best 71 in her second round at the Silverado Showdown (April 5)… Shot an even par in her final round at the PING/ASU Invitational (March 27)… Finished tied for 29th at the Mountain West Championships with a 230 (+14, 74-79-77).
As A Prep
Attended Mater Dei Catholic HS in Chula Vista, Calif. where she was a four-time first-team CIF selection… Part of school record setting squad that shot a 5-under par on their home course … Helped her school win CIF four years in a row and the Mesa League Championship twice… Was part of the Girl Up Club… Earned academic honors all four years.

Estibaly “Esti” Garcia Rubio was born in San Diego to Idalia Rubio and Eduardo Garcia… Enjoys singing, reading, traveling and trying new foods… Lists Mexican golfer Lorena Ochoa as her favorite athlete… Majoring in business with concentration in finance.
