Earned four varsity letters at Helix High in La Mesa, Calif. ... finished her career as a two-time all-Grossmont League selection in track ... qualified for the CIF state meet four different times ... helped the Highlanders to a pair of league track titles ... also competed in field hockey and soccer ... led the field hockey team to the league championship, a trip to the CIF playoffs for the first time in school history, was an all-league pick and was named a San Diego Union-Tribune athlete of the week ... played forward and midfield for the Helix soccer team ... an excellent student who graduated with honors with a grade-point-average of 4.67.
