At Lynden Christian High School
A four-star recruit according to Prospects Nation, Hernandez was named the 1A State Player of the Year in Washington after her senior year… As a senior, averaged 13.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks per game… As a junior, posted averages of 13.0 points and 5.3 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the field and 88 percent from the charity stripe…She helped Lynden Christian (Bellingham, Wash.) win the state championship in 2016 and 2018 (29-0)… Helped the Lyncs qualify for the state championship game three times in her four years… Had a game where she knocked down seven three-pointers in her senior year… Was an all-state selection her junior and season seasons, as well as being chosen for the Washington State All-Tournament Team… Was an all-league and all-county pick her last three years… Was heavily-recruited and received offers from Gonzaga, Colorado, Washington State and Colorado State among others… An honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society… Lettered in soccer as a freshman.

Isabela Hernandez was born in Bellingham, Wash. to Tanna and Juan Hernandez… Her father played baseball at Long Beach State and Azusa Pacific and her mother played basketball at Azusa Pacific… In eighth grade, wrote a letter to herself stating her dream was to play at San Diego State… Lists Kevin Durant as her favorite player… Majoring in business with hopes of launching a career in marketing.
