2020-21 Season
Played all 24 games and made 11 starts… Averaged 3.8 points and 2.4 rebounds… Made 23 three-pointers, second-most on the team, while shooting 35.4 percent… Finished the season second in school history with a 38.8 career three-point percentage… Scored 10-points in the season opener vs. Washington (11-25-20)… Averaged 24.8 minutes, fourth on the team… Started 11 straight games from Dec. 21, 2020 to Feb. 15, 2021, averaging 29.5 minutes in that span… Had nine games with multiple made three-pointers… Had a career-high nine rebounds vs. New Mexico (2-5-21)… Had a career-high four assists at Boise State (2-26-21)… One of two Aztecs (Mercedes Staples) to play all 24 games.

2019-20 Season
Appeared in all 31 games, coming off the bench to play 13.1 minutes per game… Averaged 3.1 points and 1.2 rebounds per game while shooting 43.1 percent from three, the second best in a season in school history (minimum 50 attempts)… Had career-high 16 points and was 4-for-5 from three vs. Westcliff (11-12-19)… Had two games with 11 points (at Boise State & at Wyoming)… Had season-high five rebounds vs. Cal (11-21-19)… Played 10 or more minutes 21 times and played a season-high of 26 minutes at Wyoming (1-22-20).

At Lynden Christian High School
A four-star recruit according to Prospects Nation, Hernandez was named the 1A State Player of the Year in Washington after her senior year… As a senior, averaged 13.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks per game… As a junior, posted averages of 13.0 points and 5.3 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the field and 88 percent from the charity stripe…She helped Lynden Christian (Bellingham, Wash.) win the state championship in 2016 and 2018 (29-0)… Helped the Lyncs qualify for the state championship game three times in her four years… Had a game where she knocked down seven three-pointers in her senior year… Was an all-state selection her junior and season seasons, as well as being chosen for the Washington State All-Tournament Team… Was an all-league and all-county pick her last three years… Was heavily-recruited and received offers from Gonzaga, Colorado, Washington State and Colorado State among others… An honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society… Lettered in soccer as a freshman.

Isabela Hernandez was born in Bellingham, Wash. to Tanna and Juan Hernandez… Her father played baseball at Long Beach State and Azusa Pacific and her mother played basketball at Azusa Pacific… In eighth grade, wrote a letter to herself stating her dream was to play at San Diego State… Lists Kevin Durant as her favorite player… Majoring in business with hopes of launching a career in marketing.
