Appeared in 27 contests… Attempted 17 shots and was successful on five (.294 shot percentage)… Added four assists for nine points on the season… Drew four ejections, had two steals and one block… First major college goal came vs. Cal State Fullerton (1/19)… Also picked up goals vs. Long Beach State and Cal State Monterey Bay (2/10) as well as vs. Indiana and Stanford (3/9)… Assisted on goals vs. Long Beach State, vs. No. 7 UC Irvine & Biola (3/2), and vs. No. 6 Loyola Marymount (4/27) in the GCC Championship Tournament… Produced a season-high two shots in games vs. Biola, vs. Indiana, and vs. Santa Clara (4/13)… Drew a single-game best two ejections vs. No. 23 Marist (3/1) as well as singles vs. No. 1 Southern California (1/20) and at No. 6 Fresno State (3/16)… Steals came vs. No. 1 Southern California and vs. Azusa Pacific (3/22) … Lone block came vs. No. 6 Loyola Marymount in the GCC Championship Tournament.

As a Sophomore at Palomar College (2023 Season)
First team All-American, Pacific Coast Athletic Conference (PCAC) Player of the Year, team captain and first-team All-PCAC… In 23 games scored 64 goals, assisted on 55 goals, totaled 86 steals with 32 ejections drawn for the PCAC conference champions… Garnered Dean’s List honors for both semesters… Earned All-America honors in swimming (100 & 200 breaststroke, and 200 IM).
 
As a Freshman at Palomar College (2022 Season)
A starter in all 21 games in which she appeared… Totaled 54 goals and 31 assists with 43 steals and 21 exclusions drawn for the PCAC championship squad… Earned first-team All-PCAA honors… Garnered Dean’s List honors for both semesters.
 
High School
A 2021 graduate of Rancho Bernardo (Calif.) High School… A four-year letterwinner… Earned first-team All-Palomar League honors as a freshman and junior… Helped lead her team to the conference title in her junior campaign and into the CIF Open Division playoffs… Honored as team captain in both her junior and senior seasons… As a freshman received the team’s Sportsmanship Award, and was honored as the best defensive player as a sophomore and the best offensive player as a junior… Academically, was a Union Tribune all-academic team designee in 2019 and a scholar athlete… Competed on the swim team for four years.

The daughter of Leonor and Gustavo Pena… Plans to major in dietetics and pursue a career as a registered dietitian.
