2024 SEASON (As A Junior): Enjoyed a solid debut in her first year with the Aztecs, helping the Scarlet and Black secure a spot in the Mountain West Championship… Finished third on the squad in digs (232) and digs per set (1.93) while occupying the fourth spot in service aces (27)… Played in 120 sets across all 30 matches, making 11 starts, including four straight to end the season… Surpassed the double-digit dig plateau on nine occasions, tying her career high with a team-leading 18 scoops in a four-set triumph over UC Riverside at the UCR/CBU Challenge (9-13-24)… Set a collegiate best with four service aces while contributing eight digs and a setting assist in a 3-2 victory at Gonzaga (9-20-25)… Recorded her second-highest dig total of the year with 17 scoops at New Mexico (9-28-25)… Collected 10 digs in a 3-0 whitewash at Wyoming, helping the Aztecs complete their first season sweep of the Cowgirls since 2012 and register their third straight win in Laramie (10-31-25)… Matched her career high with four aces in a 3-0 blanking of New Mexico at home (11-21-25)… Came back two days later with 11 digs in a three-set triumph over Air Force in the regular-season finale, helping the Scarlet and Black to its ninth match sweep of the year (11-23-25)… Contributed to SDSU’s 3-1 victory over Fresno State in the first round of the Mountain West Championship with 10 digs and a service ace (11-27-24)… Did not commit a reception error in 23 attempts in that contest vs. the Bulldogs… Ended the year with eight digs, one ace and one assist vs. Colorado State in the MW semifinals (11-29-24)… Earned a spot on the Mountain West all-academic team following the fall semester and received conference scholar-athlete recognition.
AT OREGON STATE (2022-23): Played 130 sets across 42 matches in two seasons with the Beavers, compiling 150 digs, 20 setting assists and 15 service aces.
2023 SEASON (As A Sophomore At Oregon State): Started 14 of 19 matches, posting career highs with 113 digs (1.61/set), 14 assists and eight service aces… Surpassed the double-digit dig barrier on three occasions, including a collegiate-best 18 scoops against California (10-22-23)… Previously notched 13 digs and two assists vs. Washington (10-1-23) before finishing with 12 scoops against Arizona State (10-13-23)… Was credited with her first career kill vs. Utah (11-5-23).
2022 SEASON (As A Freshman At Oregon State): Saw action in 25 matches during her rookie campaign with the Beavers, collecting 38 digs, seven aces and six assists … Made her collegiate debut against Long Beach State at the Hotel Vance Rose City Showdown in Portland, Oregon, serving up two aces while finishing with one dig and one assist (8-26-22)… Equaled her season high with seven digs in three matches against Alabama at the Flo Hyman Collegiate Cup in Houston Texas (9-2-22), vs. Arizona State (10-2-22) and at Arizona (10-30-22)… Also matched her season best with two assists in that latter encounter against the Wildcats.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2022 from College Station (TX) High School, where she won four varsity letters, helping the Cougars to consecutive top-five state finishes in her final two seasons… Garnered first-team all-district accolades on two occasions… Was named Conference 5A Defensive Player of the Year in 2021 and received first-team all-state recognition from the Texas Girls Coaches Association… Also merited second-team all-state plaudits that season from the Texas Sportswriters Association… Twice landed on the Greater Houston Volleyball Coaches postseason team… Served as team captain… Additionally received PrepVolleyball.com High School All-America honorable mention as a senior and twice appeared on the AVCA Phenom list… Holds school records for service aces in a single match (8), season (84) and career (178)… Also excelled in the classroom, earning academic all-district honors in each of her prep seasons.
PERSONAL: Born in Modesto, California… Parents are Randy and Stacy Herron… Has one brother, Connor… Her aunt, Julie, competed in track and field at Oregon… Enjoys beach volleyball, traveling and playing cribbage and spades in her spare time.
