2023 SEASON (As A Freshman): Earned a starting assignment in six of 14 matches during her rookie campaign, averaging 1.06 kills (38 overall) and 0.67 blocks (24 overall) across 36 sets… Hit .296 for the season (38-9-98), finishing without an attack error in seven matches… Recorded at least one block assist in nine different contests and totaled seven digs for the year… Knocked down one kill in her Aztec debut vs. UC Santa Barbara at the SDSU Invitational (9-2-23)… Posted a .385 clip at Nevada, blasting six kills on 13 attempts with one error in her first return to her hometown of Reno (10-14-23)… Followed that effort with a .444 hitting percentage (5-1-9) in a four-set home victory over Boise State (10-19-23)… Started the next six matches she played, including a six-kill performance at eventual MW regular-season champion Utah State, where she hit .357 with a career-high three solo blocks and five overall (10-21-23)… Launched four kills without a miscue in 11 swings for a .364 efficiency in a home sweep of Nevada (11-2-23)… Also collected three block assists against the Wolf Pack… Set career high with seven kills and a .636 hitting percentage against eventual Mountain West tournament champion Fresno State, finishing without an error in 11 attempts while adding two block assists (11-4-23)… Established a career high with five block assists vs. Colorado State (11-11-23)… Ended the year with three blocks, including a solo block against UNLV (11-18-23).

PRIOR TO COLLEGE: Graduated from Reno (Nev.) High School where she won three varsity letters for head coach Kuna Nakagawa … Brings a winning pedigree with her to The Mesa after propelling the Huskies to the 2022 Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association (NIAA) Class 5A North Regional championship and a runner-up finish in the state tournament … Earned MaxPreps Player of the Match honors following Reno’s 3-0 sweep of Bishop Manogue High in the regional finals when she led all competitors with 16 kills on 21 attempts against only two errors for a .667 efficiency (11-5-22) … Followed that effort with a team-high 18-kill performance vs. Bishop Gorman High in the state semifinals, hitting .441 with three miscues in 34 swings while contributing a pair of block assists, as the Huskies prevailed in a 3-2 nail-biter (11-11-22) … Was nominated for Senior Player of the Year by VBRecruiter.com prior to the 2022 campaign … Also played for the Northern Nevada Juniors Volleyball Club and competed in the USA Volleyball National Team Development Program … Excelled in the classroom as well, earning NIAA all-academic honors to go with Dean’s List distinction from her high school … Took home the Scholastic Art and Writing Gold Key Award on five occasions … Chose the Aztecs over the likes of Michigan State, Texas Tech, Nevada, New Mexico, New Mexico State and UC Davis.
