2021 SPRING SEASON (As A Redshirt Sophomore): Saw her first action in an Aztec uniform, starting nine of 15 matches … Ranked ninth in the Mountain West with a team-leading average of 6.55 assists in 51 sets played (334 overall) … Also topped the squad with 11 service aces and three double-doubles (assists-digs) while ranking fourth with 78 digs (1.53/set) … Added 16 kills and 10 total blocks for the year … Finished with double-digit assist totals in all but one match … Topped the 30-assist plateau in her first four starts for SDSU, as the Scarlet and Black posted a 3-1 record in that span … Logged a double-double in her initial collegiate start vs. Fresno State with 30 assists and 11 digs, helping the Aztecs to a 3-0 sweep at home (Feb. 13) … Also contributed two kills and a pair of block assists in that outing against the Bulldogs … Followed that effort with a pair of superlative performances in a home series sweep against New Mexico … Handed out 38 assists in the opener vs. the Lobos before surpassing that figure the following night with a career-high 40 helpers (Feb. 19-20) … Notched her second double-double of the season in the opener of a home series against Nevada, compiling 34 assists and a personal-best 12 digs (Feb. 26) … Came back the next day with a career-high three service aces vs. the Wolf Pack (Feb. 27) … Played all five sets in SDSU’s 3-2 comeback victory over Utah State, contributing 23 assists, six digs and one ace to help the Aztecs snap a five-match losing streak (March 12) … Started the final three matches of the year, including SDSU’s 3-2 upset at Boise State, where she logged her third double-double with 31 assists and 11 digs (March 20) … Also matched her career high with three aces against the Broncos … Ended the season with a 19-assist effort at home vs. Colorado State, helping the Aztecs snap an 11-match losing streak to the Rams (April 3) … Garnered Mountain West scholar-athlete accolades to go with all-academic honors from the league … Additionally received SDSU scholar-athlete recognition for the 2020 spring and fall semesters.
2019 SEASON: Did not compete in her first year at SDSU after transferring from Syracuse.
2018 SEASON (at Syracuse): Sat out as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Elk Grove (Calif.) High school, where she twice collected team MVP honors … Garnered first-team all-Delta League accolades on two occasions in 2016 and 2017 while earning all-metro honors … Was also named Player of the Year by the Elk Grove Citizen … In addition to her setting chores, she played right side as a junior during the 2016 campaign, posting a team-high 458 kills to go with a .333 hitting percentage … Received scholar-athlete recognition all four years in high school … Also competed in swimming as a prep … Finished seventh in her class with a 4.45 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Majoring in speech pathology with aspirations to work with children and assist with their speech development.
