JUNIOR (2018): Played in all 31 matches with 122 sets played… One of three players on the team to average more than two kills per set and have a hitting percentage above .150 (Deja Harris & Ashlynn Dunbar)… Finished the year with a .178 hitting percentage, 2.78 kills per set and 2.28 digs per set… Also logged 51 blocks (.42 per set) at the net… 1.56 digs per set ranked fourth on the team among players with at least 100 sets played… Recorded a .692 (10-1-13) hitting percentage in SDSU’s straight-set win over San Diego on Oct. 2… Posted a career-high 23 kills and 23 digs against Nevada on Nov. 15, becoming the second Aztec in the Mountain West era to post a 20-20 performance (Ashlynn Dunbar vs. Wyoming on Sept. 23, 2018)… Finished second on the team with four double doubles.


SOPHOMORE (2017): Played in 105 sets over 30 matches including 17 starts… Finished third on the team with 287 kills and second on the team with 2.73 kills per set… Hit .168 on the year… 769 total attacks were second most on the team… Recorded 15 matches with 10 or more kills, including a career-high 19 in a three-set match at Wyoming… 19 kills in a three-set match was tied for fifth most in the MW in 2017… Tied career-high with seven digs against Eastern Kentucky (Aug. 25) and Utah State (Oct. 21)… Posted a career-best .409 hitting percentage against Pacific on Sept. 9.

FRESHMAN (2016): Appeared 25 matches with a pair of starts as a true freshman ... Set her Aztec high with 14 kills and 14.0 points in the match at Rhode Island on Sept. 9 ... Reached double figures in kills on seven occasions ... Had 11 kills in three matches including season finale victory over Nevada (Nov. 21) ... Season-best hitting percentage of .350 came vs. Stony Brook on Sept.10 when she recorded 11 kills with four errors on 20 attack ... Had a personal-best three blocks twice: vs. UC Davis (Sept. 2) and vs. Wyoming (Nov. 12) ... Played in 15 of SDSU’s 18 conference matches averaging 1.65 kills ... Hit .316 in the win over San Jose State (Oct. 8) with 10 kills, 2 digs and 10.5 points ... Member of the Mountain West All-Academic Team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters as a volleyball player at Presentation High School in San Jose, Calif. .... Coached there by Sue Dvorak ... Team captain as a senior ... Averaged 4.7 kills and 3.1 digs per set with a .418 kill percentage in her final season ... Named to the West Catholic Athletic League second team ... Earned Santa Clara Girls Athlete of the Week from the San Jose Mercury News on Sept. 9, 2015, after averaging just under four kills and three digs per set in two matches ... ... Junior year stats included 2.9 kills and 2.6 digs per set with a .353 kill percentage ... Led the Panthers in kills each of her final two seasons.

CLUB: Played one season for the Red Rock Volleyball Club in Redwood City, Calif., where she was named all-tournament at three events for a squad that placed 10th at 2016 Nationals ... Member of the Vision Volleyball Club in San Jose, Calif., for one season ... Team placed seventh at Nationals ... Spent five season with City Beach Volleyball Club in Santa Clara, Calif., earning All-America honors for a team that finished third at the 2015 AAU national championships ... Led the Panthers in kills each of her final two seasons.

PERSONAL: Hannah Michelle Turnlund was born in San Jose, Calif. ... Daughter of Michael and Karen Turnlund ...
