HIGH SCHOOL
Earned three varsity letters in volleyball at Highlands Ranch (Colo.) High School where she was coached by Lou Krauss … A three-time all-state 5A selection was also named a first-team all-Continental League selection on three occasions … Named to the all-Colorado team (includes all divisions) as a senior … An honorable mention prepvolleyball.com All-American … Compiled a hitting percentage over the .500 mark during her four-year prep career … Team leader in blocks and attack percentage four years … Led the league and state in kill percentage three years … As a senior was named to the all-state tournament team as well as the all-Colorado Senior Team … Appeared on the 2009 Under Armour Girls Senior High School All-America watch list … Hit .378 while averaging 2.89 kills, 0.34 service aces, 1.24 digs and 1.19 blocks per set … Named the Falcons’ team MVP as a junior and was the team captain in her final season … Selected a PrepVolleyball.com top 134 sophomore in 2008 … Team won league title each of her three season and advanced to state tourney where it finished fifth, third and second over her three years … Competed for the highlands Ranch HS track team in 2008 … Honor roll student … As a freshman, earned a volleyball letter at Rock Canyon High School in Highlands Ranch … Was the school’s first freshman to make the varsity squad and set the school record for unassisted blocks.
 
CLUB
A two-year starter for the Front Range Volleyball Club (Denver, Colo.)  Black 18-1 team that recorded six top five placings in open division tournament play … Competed with the Colorado Juniors Volleyball Club in Denver for one season … Her 16-1 team went undefeated in the Rocky Mountain Region (RMR) and finished fifth at the Junior Olympics … Spent one year with the Colorado Performance club in Denver where her 15-1 squad was undefeated in RMR play while winning the Colorado Crossroads Tournament and placing 11th at the JO’s.

Born in Denver, Colo. … Daughter of Mark and Aleesha Winkler … Enjoys music, travel and football … Lists Tim Tebow as her favorite athlete … Was also recruited by St. Mary’s, San Diego, Denver and American University … A communications major at SDSU with plans to career as a sports agent.
