Four-year volleyball letterwinner for head coach Darren Utterback at Capistrano Valley High School … Was a starter all four seasons as a setter and libero … Second-team all-South Coast League selection as a junior and senior, honorable mention as a sophomore … Helped lead team to league titles as a junior and senior plus a Division I regional quarterfinal appearance during her junior year … Team captain as a senior … Received all-county third-team honors in her final season … Named CVSH defensive player of the year three times … Earned scholar-athlete recognition all four years … Also played softball for the Cougars and received Coaches Award in 2006 … Selected Student-Athlete of the Month in October 2008 … Student of the year in English for 2006-07.
 
CLUB
Played for Sunshine Volleyball Club 18s in 2009, finishing fourth in the Southern California Volleyball Association Junior Olympic qualifying tournament … In 2008 was a member of the Southern California Volleyball Club 18’s that won the SCVA and the Lone Star  J.O. qualifying tourneys and captured the bronze medal at the Junior Olympics in the 18 Open Division … Team also won the SCVA title … Other clubs she competed for include Roxy Beach (14’s, 15’s) and Laguna Beach (12’s) … Roxy Beach 14’s went undefeated and won gold at the Junior Olympics in the Open Division (2005) with the 15’s taking fifth place (2006) … Holds two more SCVA season titles in the 14’s and 12’s.

Born in West Hills, Calif. … Daughter of Mike and Vicky Hallam … Mother played four years of volleyball at Cal State Fullerton … Uncle, Nick Baba, played water polo at UC Irvine who also competed for the U.S. National Team … Enjoys going to the beach, shopping and spending time with family and friends … Also recruited by Hawaii-Hilo … A kinesiology major with career plans to work for a pro sports team.
