2008 SEASON (As A Sophomore)
Appeared in 14 matches with one start … Season-high six kills came against Texas-El Paso on Sept. 13 during Gonzaga Invitational … Also had 16 digs in that match, one shy of her career best as an Aztec … Posted double figures in digs against Texas-Arlington a well in contest at the Baylor Classic on Sept. 5 … Also had a personal season-best four blocks in that match as well.
2007 SEASON (As A Redshirt Freshman)
Started 28 of SDSU’s 29 matches after redshirting as a true freshman in 2006 … Recorded double-double efforts against both UCSB (12 kills, 17 digs) and Long Island (15 kills, 16 digs) in SDSU’s season-opening weekend ... She recorded her third double-double with 16 kills and 15 digs vs. Hofstra on Sept. 1 ... Recorded a total of five double-doubles during the year ... Hit double figures in kills in eight matches and finished with nine kills on nine other occasions ... Her 16 kills against both Hofstra (Sept. 1) and Brigham Young (Sept. 15) represented career bests … Compiled double figures in digs 12 times ... Set a career mark with 18 digs in the win over Northern Illinois on Sept. 8 ... Season-high five blocks came in season opener vs. UC Santa Barbara ... Personal best four assists vs. Siena on Sept. 1 and vs. UNLV on Sept 21 … Had career-high four service aces in win over Ball State (Aug. 31) … Recorded at least one block in 27 of the team’s 29 matches … Top hitting percentage in a match of .400 came against Air Force on Oct. 4.
2006 SEASON (As A Freshman)
Sat out as a redshirt during her first year on The Mesa.
HIGH SCHOOL
Won three varsity letters in volleyball at Kingwood High School in Kingwood, Texas … Was an all-state selection all three years as an outside hitter … As a senior in 2005, was also named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association all-state squad and the all-Greater Houston second team … Best attacker award at the CY-Fair tournament … Won team offensive MVP award as well … In 2004, was all-tournament honoree at Cy-Fair and Pearland tourneys as well as MVP of the Kingwood Tournament … Named the Houston Chronicle Player of the Year as team finished third at the championships … During her sophomore season (2003), she was an all-tourney selection at both the Cy-Fair and Kingwood events … Chosen best defensive player at Cy-Fair … As a beach player, finished third at the 2003 U.S. Junior Olympic Beach Championships … Also the co-player of the year in the Gulf Coast beach volleyball league … Played for the Willowbrook Select Club team for three years … Also a member of the Texas Thunder club team for three years.

Born in Westchester, Penn. … Daughter of John Evans and Mary Shepard … Father played tennis at the University of Colorado … Enjoys surfing, reading, movies and the going to beach in her spare time … An environmental science major at San Diego State.
