2008 SEASON (As A Junior)
Appeared in 13 matches with seven starts at the outside hitter position … Recorded seasons highs with seven kills and 14 digs in the second match of the season vs. Albany on Aug. 30 … Her dig total was one shy of her career best of 15 … Also had 13 digs at UNLV on Oct. 3 … Averaged one kills per set over the course of the season as well a 1.67 digs per set … Career best three assists came vs. TCU on Sept. 27 … Named a 2008 Mountain West Conference Scholar-Athlete as well as a member of the MWC all-Academic Team … Winner of an SDSU scholar-athlete award during both the fall and spring semesters.
2007 SEASON (As A Sophomore)
Started five of the 19 matches in which she appeared in her second season at San Diego State ... Set a career high with 10 kills at TCU on Oct. 13 … Also had a career-best 15 digs in that match to record her first double-double as a collegiate player ... Came on in the first game of that match as replacement for Stephanie Darnall, who broke her leg in the contest ... In SDSU’s ensuing match at UNLV, McMillan made her first start of the season and compiled four kills and 12 digs ... She also had a dozen digs against Air Force on Nov. 2 ... Averaged 2.00 digs per game in conference play … In two matches at the MWC tournament, averaged 1.17 blocks per game with four vs. Air Force (Nov. 21) and three vs. Colorado State (Nov. 22) … Also had a career-high three assists vs. Colorado State in the final match of the season ... Named to the Mountain West Conference All-Academic team for second consecutive year ... Was also a recipient of a 2007 MWC student-athlete award.
2006 SEASON (As A Freshman)
Appeared in half of SDSU’s matches in her first year on The Mesa … Two starts came at Colorado State (Oct. 14) and at BYU (Oct. 21) … Season bests of seven kills, 10 digs and two blocks in the match at Colorado State … Personal high two assists in season opener vs. CSU Northridge … Received 2006-07 Mountain West Conference Student-Athlete Award, given to athletes with a GPA of 3.5 or higher … Named to 2006 MWC All-Academic team … Winner of SDSU scholar-athlete award.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played four years of varsity volleyball at Pinetree Senior Secondary School in Coquitlam, British Columbia … Received awards as best offensive player as a freshman, best defensive player as a sophomore and MVP as both a junior and senior … Was selected the female athlete of the year as a senior … Was an all-star (all-tourney) honoree at the senior high school provincial championships her final two seasons … Named MVP of the Fraser Valley championships as a junior and senior … Also chosen to all-star team at the Fraser Valley championships as a freshman and sophomore … Played for the Coquitlam Ducks club team for seven years and was an all-star at the grade 12 provincial club championships … Won numerous awards as a beach volleyball player … Was also active in the sports of soccer, track and field, and softball outside of school … Graduated from Pinetree Secondary with honors … Was selected as the libero for the Canadian national youth team … Played on the British Columbia Provincial team for two years and received all-star recognition in her second season.
