Named honorable mention AVCA All-American as well as first team all-West Region ... Member of the all-Mountain West team for second consecutive year ... In all matches finished ninth in hitting percentage, eighth in kills, third in blocks and sixth in points ... In conference contest was third in hitting percentage, ninth in kills, sixth in blocks and fourth in points ... All-tournament selection at the Aztec Invitational ... Was chosen as the Mountain West Player of the Week on Aug. 29 after averaging 3.58 kills and 1.75blocks per set with a .398 hitting percentage during three matches at the Aztec Invitational (Aug. 26-27) ... Had a career-high 30 points and tied career best with 11 total blocks in win at New Mexico on Oct. 9 ... Against Boise State on Oct. 15, she had 13 kills on 17 attempts with no errors for a career-high .765 hitting percentage ... Season-best 10 digs in four-set win over New Mexico on Nov. 3 ... Named to the 2010 all-Mountain West team ... Finished fifth in blocking in the league’s overall stats with an average of 1.23 blocks per set ... In conference matches ranked fourth at 1.20 blocks per set ... Her 129 block assists were the 10th-most ever in a single season by an Aztec player ... Named the Mountain West co-Player of the Week on Sept. 27 for her performance in matches vs. New Mexico and TCU ... In those two contests she average 3.50 kills and 1.63 blocks per set with a .535 hitting percentage ... Career-high 18 kills and 23 points in the victory at Brigham Young on Nov. 6 ... SAN DIEGO STATE (2009 SEASON)
Started every match and played in every game as a true freshman ... Named to the all-tournament team at the USF Asics/Coca-Cola Challenge Had at least one block in 28 of 29 matches ... Had season-high 16 kills in matches against Utah (Nov. 19) and Brigham Young (Nov. 21) ... Named Mountain West Conference Player of the Week on Nov. 23 after averaging 4.00 kills,0.62 digs and 4.50 points per set while hitting .450 over those two matches... Had 11 block assists at Air Force on Nov. 14, a mark that tied for most in the conference during the 2009 season ... Finished fourth in the MWC over-all stats in blocks (1.11 blocks per set) and points (3.22 points per set) ... In league matches, was fifth in blocks (1.14 bps) and ninth in points (3.23 pps)... Won four varsity letters as a volleyball player at New Braunfels (Texas) High School, where she played under head coach Phyllis Fowler ... Earned all-state honors as a junior and senior ... Selected to the Texas All-Star Team as a senior ...Three-time all-district selection, winning second-team honors as a sophomore and first-team accolades her final two years ... District MVP during her junior season ... As a senior she was named a Prep Volleyball Senior Ace as one of the top 250 seniors in the nation and was a member of the 2008 academic all-state squad ... Averaged 4.55 kills, 0.75aces and 3.1 digs per game while recoding 69.5 blocks ... Played softball in 2006 and 2007 ... Competed for track team her final two years ... Won the Class 5A state discus title as a senior, throwing a 2009 area-best and school-record 147-7 ...
