2010 SEASON (As A Junior)
Began the season by being named to the all-tournament team at the annual Aztec Invitational (Aug. 27-28) … In three matches during that event she averaged 3.90 kills and 2.40 blocks per set … Was also selected all-tournament at the conclusion of the SDSU/USD Challenge (Sept. 17-18) after averaging 3.24 kills and 1.58 digs per set over three matches … Set a career highs with 25 kills and 27 points vs. UC Santa Barbara during that tourney (Sept. 18) … Against UC Irvine on Sept. 11 she set her personal Aztec bests with 21 digs and four assists … Recorded five double-doubles (kills-digs) during the season …  Hit double figures in kills in 16 matches … Kill average of 2.85 per set ranked second on the squad … Was selected the California Bank & Trust Student-Athlete of the Week on Nov. 15 … Her total of 18 service aces also ranked second on the team … Her average of 0.21 service aces per set in league play led the Aztecs … Tied her career high with three aces at UNLV on Oct. 23.
 
2009 SEASON (As A Sophomore)
Started 21 matches and finished the season as the team's kill average leader at 2.71 per set … Average of 2.88 kills per set in conference matches ... Both averages ranked eighth in the Mountain West Conference final stats … Recorded a season-high 18 kills on three occasion: at San Francisco (9/4), at Air Force (11/13) and vs. Brigham Young (11/21)  … Named MWC Player of the Week on Oct. 19 after compiling 5.33 kills, 1.67 digs and 5.33 points per set along with a .714 attack percentage over three sets in win over Air Force on 10/16 … Her .714 hitting percentage in that contest (16k-1e-21ta) was a career high … Set personal best of 22 points in match vs. BYU on 11/21 when she had 18 kills, three aces and two block assists while hitting .342 over four sets … Set career high with 17 digs in that match as well.
 
2008 SEASON (As A Freshman)
Started 17 of the 25 matches in which she appeared during her first year on The Mesa … Finished second on the squad with an average of 2.53 kills per set … That averaged increased to 2.77 kps in conference play as she finished 10th in that category in league match stats … Season high kill total of 19 and personal best .531 hitting percentage both came at Brigham Young on Oct. 9 … In return match vs. BYU on Nov. 8 had her second highest kill total (17) and attack percentage (.500) of the season … The 17 kills were the fourth-best total in a three-set match by an MWC player … Reached double figures in kills in nine matches including eight of the final 12 … Recorded season-high 10 digs vs. Weber  State ...  Personal best five blocks came at UNLV on Oct. 3.
 
HIGH SCHOOL
Winner of highest honorable mention All-American accolade from Prep Volleyball … Played four years of volleyball at West Salem High School … Earned a total of 10 varsity letters in three sports … A two-time player of the year for the Central Valley Conference (as a junior and senior), who earned all-CVC recognition each of her four years including first-team accolades her final three seasons … An all-state selection her final two years … As a senior, was named to the 2007 Statesman-Journal all-star team and was that publication’s Female Volleyball Player of the Year … Voted the Female Fall Athlete of the Year for 2007 by the Salem Breakfast Club … During her junior year, was named to the all-tournament team at the state championships after leading West Salem to a fifth-place finish …  As a sophomore in 2005 was a second-team all-state tourney selection and received third-team all-state accolades after leading West Salem to a sixth-place finish at the state tourney …  Earned second-team all-league honors as a freshman … Competed for the track team for four seasons … Was an all-region selection and West Salem’s female track athlete of the year as a sophomore and junior … Holds the school records in the high jump (5-3) and 400 meters (57.06) … Was also a member of the school record-setting 400 relay team … Played two seasons of basketball (as a freshman and sophomore) … Was named the High Point Female Athlete of the Year four times.
 
CLUB
Played volleyball for seven years with the Salem Volleyball Club … Member of the club’s top team (18U) for three years  … Previously competed for the Nike NW Junior in Portland, Ore. … Team won numerous tournaments and qualified for the Junior Olympics.

Born in Salem, Ore. … Daughter of Benny and Sandy Sexton ... Mother played volleyball at Oregon State … Twin brother, Chase, competed for the track team (shot put, discus) at Boise State … Her aunt, Joni Huntley, won a bronze medal in the high jump at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles … Enjoys spending time with family and friends, movies, sports and playing with her dogs …An interior design major at SDSU.
