Three-year letterwinner as a varsity volleyball athlete at Cypress High School...Did not play during her senior year, electing to play solely club volleyball instead...First-team all-Empire League selection as a junior in 2003...Appeared in 12 matches and led the league in kills (129) and service aces (33)...Team went 20-2 overall and 10-0 in league play...Earned same honor as a sophomore (2002) and was also a second-team all-CIF Southern Section honoree that year...Led the Empire League in kills with 162 in 11 matches...Named team[apos]s best offensive player as both a sophomore and junior...Member of California Scholarship Federation (CSF) and yearbook editor...Played club volleyball for Team Complete Athlete (TCA) from 2002 to 2005...Participated in Junior Olympics Open Division in each age bracket (15[apos]s, 16[apos]s, 17[apos]s, 18[apos]s)...Team had a pair of fifth-place finishes (16[apos]s and 18[apos]s)...TCA took first place in the 17 open division and she was named to the all-tournament team.
