2023-24 Season
Indoor: Competed in four meets, including the Mountain West Championships … Won gold in the 400m and silver in the 200m and 4x400m relay at the MW Championships … Broke the 400m record at the MLK Invitational to open the season, then broke her own record three times finishing with a 52.43 at the MW Championships … Ran a 23.44 in the 200m at the MW Championships, the third fastest time in program history … Ran the anchor leg of the 4x400m relay at the MW Championships, finishing the 3:37.20 effort, the third fastest in program history … Also posted a 7.49 in the 60m at the UNM Collegiate Classic.
Outdoor: Earned a USTFCCCA honorable mention, finishing 17th in the 400m dash at the NCAA Championships … Qualified for the championships with a 12th place finish at the NCAA West Prelims with a quarterfinal time of 51.85 after running a 51.35, the third fastest time in program history, in the opening round … Also ran the 4x100m and 4x400m relays at the NCAA West Prelims … The Aztecs’ 4x1 time of 43.45 punched their ticket to the championship meet, but she did not run the relay in Eugene … The 4x1 relay team finished seventh at the prelims while the 4x4 team finished 20th … Claimed three gold medals and a silver medal at the Mountain West Championships … Won gold in the 400m dash, 4x100m relay, and 4x400m relay and silver in the 200m dash becoming the fourth different Aztec to earn all-MW honors in four different events since MW started awarding all-conference in 2006 … It is her second consecutive year winning three gold medals … Ran a 23.20 in the 200m at the MW Championships, the fifth fastest time in program history … Finished top ten at every meet she competed in throughout the regular season, and top five in all but one.
2022-23 Season
Indoor: Finished seventh in both the 60m and 200m at the Mountain West Indoor Championships … Ran a personal best 23.49 to win her preliminary race in the 200m at the MW Championships … Totaled four meets during the indoor season … Set a personal best 7.43 in the 60m at the WSU Open … Won her first career indoor event, the 400m at the UW Invite … Also won the 400m at the WSU Open … Also finished third in the 60m at the WSU Open after winning her prelim race … Took home third as part of the 4x400m relay team at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational.
Outdoor: Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminaries in the 400m, finishing 17th in the semifinals after running a personal best 52.20, the fourth-fastest time in program history, in the first round … Competed in four events at the Mountain West Championships, winning three of them: 400m, 4x100m, 4x400m … Also finished fifth in the 200m … Totaled seven meets during the outdoor season … Ran a lifetime best 11.74 in the 100m at the Trojan Invite.

Attended Petersfield High School where she holds the school record in the 400m, 800m, 1,500m and 400m hurdles… Won gold medals in the 400m, 400 meter hurdles and 4x400m relay at the 2019 CARIFTA games… Medaled at the CARIFTA games in the 800 and 1,500m in 2016 and 2017.

Aztecs Earn 82 Academic All-MW Honors
San Diego State had 82 student-athletes earn academic All-Mountain West designation for the spring semester, the Mountain West Conference office announced from Colorado Springs, Colorado on Tuesday afternoon.
SDSU Track and Field Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors
San Diego State track and field has been named an all-academic team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Sameerah Evans, Jenna Fee Feyerabend, Shaquena Foote, Rhea Hoyte, Jordan Leveque, Alex Lomeli, Jada Moore and Jada Pierre all received the award as individuals as well.

San Diego State track and field alum, Shanieka Ricketts (Thomas) will compete for Jamaica at this summer's Olympic Games.
