2021-22
Outdoor: Placed 13th in 4x400m relay (3:34.79) and 19th in the 4x100m relay (44.71) in the NCAA Outdoor Championships... Finished 10th in the 4x400m relay (3:33.42, 2nd in school history), 12th in the 4x100 relay (44.60), and 26th in the 200m run (23.66) in the NCAA West Preliminary Round... Brought home the gold medal in the 4x400m relay (3:33.68, 3rd in SDSU history) and the 4x100m relay (44.38, 10th in program history), the silver medal in the 100 meters (11.57), and finished sixth in the 200 meters (23.71) at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships... Competed in seven meets... Set a personal record and finished sixth in the 100 meters at the Aztec Invitational with a time of 11.71... Took second in the Sun Angel Classic (23.91), and fourth in the Aztec Invitational (23.74) and Desert Heat Classic (23.48, personal best) in the 200m run... Finished first in the 4x400m relay (3:36.23) and second in the 4x100m relay (44.32, eighth all-time) at the Desert Heat Classic... Placed first at the Sun Angel Classic in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:34.57, good for sixth in school history.

Indoor: Won the gold medal in the 4x400m relay (3:37.06), and bronze medals in the 60 meters (7.51, personal record) and 200 meters (24.10) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships... Competed in four meets... Finished second in the 4x400m relay in the UNM Collegiate Classic (3:41.25)... Set a personal best in the 200 meters at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational (23.75).

2020-21
Outdoor: Took fourth in the 400m (season best 53.70), fifth in the 200m (23.61) and helped SDSU win the 4x400m relay at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… This was her third time helping SDSU win the 4x400m relay… Went on to place 25^th in the 200m (23.32w), 36^th in the 400m (54.23) and 14^th in the 4x400m relay (3:36.72) at the NCAA West prelims… Ran a career-best 23.58 in the 200m prelims at the MW Championships.

2019-20
Indoor: Competed in four meets… Part of record-breaking 4x400m relay team that finished in 3:33.81 at the UNM Collegiate Classic… That group won the gold medal at the MW Indoor Championships (3:35.65) and qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships before it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic… Individually, took third in the 400m (54.33) at the MW Indoor Championships and ninth in the 200m dash (24.25)… Ran the 60m dash at the NAU Mountain T’s Invitational and took third with a time of 7.54 seconds.

Outdoor: Season was canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.

2018-19
Indoor: Finished 2nd in the 400m and 7th in the 200m at the Mountain West Championships…Set a personal record in the 200m race (23.93) in the MW Championship prelims... Set a new PR in the 400m at the Don Kirby Invitational (54,20), good for fifth in school history... Helped SDSU finish fourth in the 4x400-meter relay at the MLK Invitational (3:48.36).

Outdoor: Had three top three finishes at the MW Championships… Helped the Aztecs win the 4x400m relay (3:35.02), took second in the 400m (54.31) and third in the 4x100m relay (45.25)... Helped SDSU take sixth and run the second fastest 4x4 in school history at the NCAA West preloi,s (3:33.48)... Part of 11th place team at NCAA Championships (3:33.64)…Her and her teammates won all three regular season 4x4 relays they competed in... Finished top three with two first place finishes in the four 4x100m relays she ran.

2017-18
Indoor: Took second place in the 400m with a season-best time of 54.75 at the Mountain West Championships… Also helped the Aztecs take second in the 4x400m relay at the MW Championships with a time of 3:40.78, the second fastest time in school history… Improved her time in the 400m in every race throughout the season and placed in the top ten every time… Also competed in the 60m twice and the 200m once.
 
Outdoor: Had a fantastic debut outdoor season where she helped the Aztecs reach the NCAA Championships in the 4x400m relay and win at the MW Championships… Also had a strong individual season, taking third in the 400m at the MW Championships (53.59) to qualify for the NCAA West Prelims… Took sixth at the MW Championships in the 200 with a season best time of 23.82… Helped the Aztecs win the 4x100m relay at the MW Challenge (44.54) and take third at the Desert Heat Classic with a time of 43.46, the second fastest time in school history… Also at the Desert Heat Classic, part of SDSU 4x400m relay team that took first and had the third fastest time in program history (3:34.11).

High School
Four-year letterwinner in track at Rancho Cucamonga High ... A six-time Baseline League champion, three-time CIF Southern Section champion and a three-time CIF State Championship meet participant who earned four state podium finishes ... At the 2017 CIF State Championship, placed sixth in the 200 and 400 ... Team captain and Women's MVP ... Also played two years of varsity basketball.

Jalyn Simone Harris was born in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. to Simone Brown and Lamel Harris ... Simone competed in the 200 at the 1988 Olympic Trials and attended UNLV for track ... Majoring in criminal justice.
