Attended Bonita Vista High School in Chula Vista, Calif... A two-time first team All-Mesa League selection... Named First Team All DI CIF for cross country... In 2017 took second in the Mesa League Finals in the 1,600 and third in the 3,200, qualifying for CIF in both... In 2016, took ninth place at the CIF DI Championships in cross country... In 2017 took third in both the 1,600 and 3,200 in the Mesa League Finals, qualifying for CIF in both... Helped her team win the 2014 Mesa League cross country championship... Was team MVP and team captain in 2017... A four-time All-Academic team selection...Graduated with honors with a 4.38 overall GPA, top 20 in her class... Also competed in volleyball and soccer.

PERSONAL
Born in San Diego to Rebecca and Joe Medina... Her father (volleyball) and grandfather (SDSU) both were student-athletes at SDSU... Majoring in kinesiology with hopes of becoming a physical therapist... Lists Emma Coburn as her favorite athlete... Enjoys playing with her four dogs.
