Cross Country:Competed in the Aztecs' first five races of the season ... Season-best times came in consecutive races: at the UNLV Invitational (5K - 18:28) and the UC Riverside Invitational (6K - 22:01.8) ... Aztecs' second finisher in both of those races and the Highlander Invitational (5K - 18:43.1) ... Made collegiate debut at the Mark Covert Classic, placing 22nd (5K - 19:54.4) ... Also competed in the Capital Cross Challenge (6K - 23:42.1).
High School
A 2017 graduate of Buchanan High school in Clovis, Ca. In Cross Country, she helped lead the Bears to CIF Central Section League and 2 consecutive Valley Championships, in addition to CIF D1 third-place (2016) and 4th place (2015) finishes. An All-Tri River Athletic Conference (TRAC) honoree and Valley Top-15 All-Star status ... In Track and Field, she was a 3,200 state qualifier (2016) and twice helped Buchanan consecutively win CIF Central Section League and Valley Championships ... A highly-involved student leadership–athlete. She was ASB Vice President (Sr), ASB Athletic Commissioner (Jr), and Student Body President (Fr). She was a Peer Counselor, and Founder / Chairperson of Save Our Soles organization. A National Honor Society Member (NHS), Lifetime CSF member, and a Recipient of Rotary and Kiwanis Leadership Scholarships. As a four-year letter winner and scholar-athlete she also lettered as a freshman on the Varsity Soccer team. HS Best times: 1600 (5:08), 3200 (11:06), 3 mile (17:38) , 5K (18:28). Also recruited by UCSD, SJSU, CSULB, CSUMB, UNCG.
