2017-18
Indoor Track and Field: Added the 60 meter dash to her repertoire for the indoor season to go along with the triple jump… Took fourth place in the triple jump at the MW Championships with a career-best jump of 40-11.50, good for the sixth best mark in school history… Improved her mark in each meet throughout the season… Ran a personal best time of 8.24 in the 60 meter dash at the MW Championships, good for 16th place.
 
Outdoor Track and Field: Qualified for the NCAA West Prelims in the triple jump for the third consecutive year… Had a season-best jump of 41-02.50 (w) and took first place at the Triton Invitational.. Also won the Aztec Invite Open (38-07.50)… Took second at the Aztec Invitational (39-10.50), Jim Bush Legends Invite (39-10.50) and Mountain West Challenge (40-09.50)… Took 11th place at the MW Championships (38-08.75).

2016-17
Indoor Track and Field:
Set a new personal record in the long jump at the UW Preview (16-10.50) and earned top-10 placings in two of the three triple jump events she competed in during the indoor season ... Won fifth place at the UW preview in the triple jump and set a new triple jump personal record at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational (39-05.75).

Outdoor Track and Field: Was a consistent triple jump competitor for the Aztecs during the outdoor season, placing within the top 10 in seven of the eight events she participated in ... Won bronze in the triple jump at the MW Championships (40-08.75) and qualified for the Aztecs in the NCAA West Prelims, placing 38th (39-08.00) ... Placed 13th and also set a new personal record for the long jump at the UCI Spring Break Classic (17-03.75) and earned gold in the triple jump at the same meet (40-03.00).

2015-16
Indoor Track and Field:
Made her collegiate debut at the NAU Challenge, finishing fifth in the triple jump (38-04.00) and making her only appearance of the year in the 60 meters (8.32) … The following week, earned a collegiate best with a 39-07.75 triple jump at the UW Invitational for sixth … Qualified for the MW Championships in the event, finishing seventh (39-07.25).

Outdoor Track and Field: Evolved into one of the Aztecs’ triple jump specialists as the season progressed, winning the event twice and qualifying for the NCAA West Prelims with a third-place finish at the MW Championships … Collegiate-best performance came at the conference championship (41-04.50), which was the eighth-best showing in program history … Won the triple jump at the Aztec Invitational (40-09.00) and the California Collegiate Invitational (39-09.75), where she also earned a collegiate best and a sixth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles (14.56) … Placed second in the 100-meter hurdles in her outdoor debut at the San Diego Collegiate Championships (15.29) … Competed in the event in three additional meets.

High School
Competed in both indoor and outdoor triple jump, as well as the 100-meter and 300-meter hurdles at Long Beach Polytechnic HS in Long Beach, Calif. ... earned a spot on the varsity squad all four years and received two letters ... owned outdoor bests of 45.54 seconds in the 300H at the 2013 Moore League Prelims and 14.59 in the 100H at the 2014 Moore League Finals ... moved onto compete at the CIF Southern Section Division I Finals to achieve a wind-aided mark of 39-04.25 (11.99m) in the triple jump ... during her senior year, Ainsworth competed at the New Balance Indoor Nationals where she attained a mark of 10.36m (34-00.00) in the triple jump ... also participated in the California State Meet Prelims, where she posted another personal-best jump of 38-08.25 (11.79m) ... was the 2015 CIF Southern Section Division I triple jump champion ... was a competitor at the 2015 California state meet in the triple jump and the CIF Southern Division I triple jump and 100-meter hurdles in both 2014-15 ... received the award for Most Valuable Jumper and the Long Beach Poly Track Medal for Honor and Excellence ... graduated with honors ... also competed in volleyball during high school as a middle hitter.

Je'Neal Ainsworth was born in Torrance, Calif. ... her mother ran track in middle school and high school in addition to her older sister, Michella, who encouraged her to compete ... majoring in biology ... was recruited by Long Beach State, Alcorn State, Alabama State and UC Davis.
