Outdoor Track and Field: Had another solid season, setting a school record in the javelin throw, and logging all-time top-bests in the shot put (10th, 46-05.25) and the long jump (T-10th, 19-09.75) ... ended her long season at the NACAC U-23 Champs, winning the heptathlon in 5,692 points on Aug. 12 ... competed at the NCAA Championships in the heptathlon for the second straight year, but did not complete the event ... qualified for the NCAA West Prelims in two events, finishing 22nd in the javelin throw (150-00) and 34th in the long jump (18-09.25) as only the top 12 moved onto the NCAA Finals ... picked up a lot of points for the Aztecs at the MW Championships, winning her first title in the heptathlon (5,697), while taking third in the long jump (wind-aided 19-11.50) and the javelin (144-05), sixth in the 4x400-meter relay 3:47.47, tied for eighth in the high jump (5-05.00) and 11th in the shot put (43-09.25) ... for her efforts was named all-MW in three events - heptathlon, long jump and javelin ... started her outdoor season at the UCSD Collegiate on March 15, winning the high jump (5-07.25), shot put (44-11.50) and javelin (146-11) ... came in third in the invitational shot put at the Aztec Invitational on March 29 in 44-06.25 ... was sixth in the javelin (144-00) and fifth in the shot put (44-10.25) at the Cal/Nevada Championships on April 4-5 ... took eight at the heptathlon at the Mt. SAC Multi[apos]s on April 16-17, highlighted by No. 10 all-time marks in the long jump (19-09.75) and shot put (46-05.25) ... competed in multi-events at the Triton Invitational on April 26, finishing third in the javelin (school-record 155-04), eighth in the high jump (5-04.25), and 13th in the 200 (25.33) and 100 hurdles (14.91).
Indoor Track and Field: Ended up taking third in the pentathlon at the MW Championships with 3,918 points, including an individual win in the shot put (43-04.50) ... in the open events, was sixth in the long jump (19-04.75) and 17th in the shot put (43-02.25) ... also teamed up on relays to take sixth in the 4x400-meter relay (3:49.28 converted) and ninth in the distance medley relay (12:48.63), the latter which was the eighth-fastest time in school history ... competed at the Cherry & Sliver Invitational on Jan. 24-25, where she was 12th in the shot put (42-08.25), tied for 15th in the long jump (18-04.50), 31st in the 60-meter hurdles (9.26) and 32nd in the 200 (25.14) ... also ran a leg on the seventh-place 4x400-meter relay in 3:48.39 (No. 10 all-time at SDSU) ... finished second in the pentathlon at the Howie Ryan Invitational on Jan. 31 with 3,846 points ... included in the 3,846 were individual first places in the long jump (18-08.50) and the shot put (43-06.00) ... also competed in the open shot put, taking sixth in 44-01.25 ... won the long jump at the Don Kirby Elite on Feb. 14 in 19-06.75, and was 15th in the shot put (43-09.25) and 37th in the 200 (24.95).

Outdoor Track and Field: Had a tremendous freshman season ... posted all-time SDSU top-10 bests in the heptathlon (second, 5,774) and in the long jump (ninth, 19-08.00) ... competed all the way until June 21-22, taking 10th in both the shot put (40-10.25) and javelin throw (134-00) at the Canadian National Championships ... also qualified and competed at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the heptathlon on June 6-7, finishing 23rd and earning honorable mention USTFCCCA All-American honors ... took ninth at the NCAA West Prelims on May 23 in the long jump with a leap of 19-08.00, which was the ninth-best mark in program history ... scored in three events at the MW Championships on May 10-11, finishing fourth in the long jump (wind-aided 19-08.75), fifth in the javelin (141-00) and seventh in the 400 (56.22) ... also was 10th in the shot put (44-06.75) ... began her outdoor season at the San Diego Championships on March 9, winning the javelin throw (141-11), taking second in the 400 (56.67) and third in the shot put (42-02.00) ... won the heptathlon at the Aztec Invitational on March 14-15 in 5,716 points ... out of the seven events in the heptathlon at the Aztec Invite, she claimed wins in the high jump (collegiate-best 5-05.75), long jump (18-10.00), the shot put (collegiate-best 46-00.75) and the javelin (collegiate-best 148-09), and taking second in the 200 (collegiate-best 24.79) ... was eighth in the invitational shot put on March 16 in 44-09.75 ... helped the Aztecs to a third straight title at the Cal/Nevada Championships on March 29-30, winning the javelin (142-03), and scoring in the 400 (seventh, 56.61) and shot put (sixth, 45-04.25) ... won the 200 (25.01) and was second in the shot put (43-05.75) at the Arnie Robinson Invitational on April 13 ... was second in the Mt. SAC portion of the heptathlon at the Mt. SAC Relays on April 17-18 with 5,774 points, which ranks second all-time at SDSU and the most by a freshman ... posted the best javelin mark of the two-day heptathlon with a wind-aided heave of 146-05 ... also had collegiate bests of 2:19.81 in the 800 and 14.43 in the 100 hurdles at the Mt. SAC heptathlon.
Indoor Track and Field: Posted three all-time Aztec indoor top-10 marks in her first collegiate season, including second in the pentathlon (3,969), fourth in the shot put (47-07.25) and seventh in the long jump (19-07.50) ... just missed out of a pentathlon title at the MW Championships on Feb. 21, taking second with 3,969 points, two behind teammate Allison Reaser ... ended up earning all-conference in the pentathlon with the second-place finish ... her 19-07.50 mark in the long jump was the seventh best in program history ... also was fifth in the open long jump (18-11.75) and 15th in the 200 (24.79) the following day ... made her SDSU debut on Feb. 1-2 at the New Mexico Classic, winning the long jump (19-00.75), seventh in the shot put (44-05.25) and ninth in the 200 (25.14), while teaming up for in the fourth-place 4x400-meter relay team (3:51.20) ... also competed at the prestigious Don Kirby Elite Invitational on Feb. 8, taking ninth in the 200 (24.67), 12th in the shot put (47-07.25, which was No. 4 all-time) and the long jump (18-08.00) and 26th in the 60 hurdles (9.09).

Nicole Oudenaarden was born Jan. 14, 1994, in St. Alberta, Alberta, Canada ... daughter of Tony and Monica Oudenaarden ... picked the Aztecs over the likes of LSU, Clemson, Oregon, Arizona, UCLA, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, TCU, Washington State, Liberty and Kent State ... plans to major in kinesiology.
