2022-23 SEASON (As a Junior): Made a tremendous impact in her first year on The Mesa, qualifying for the NCAA Championships in the 100 and 200 breaststroke… Captured a pair of gold medals in those two events at the Mountain West Championships to help the Aztecs secure their second straight league title with a MW-record 1,638 points… Set a conference and school record of 2:08.23 in the 200 breast during time trials of the Mountain West meet before emerging victorious in the finals with another NCAA “B” cut time of 2:00.86 (2-18-23)… Also surpassed an NCAA “B” cut standard in the finals of the 100 breast with a winning effort of 1:00.23, which ranks fourth in school history (2-17-23)… Additionally placed seventh in the bonus finals of the 200 individual medley (2:05.65) at the conference championships and 23rd overall (2-16-23)… Finished 35th in the 200 breast (2:11.10) and 45th in the 100 breast (1:00.73) during the preliminaries of the NCAA Championships (3-17/18-23)… Contributed to SDSU’s 50th consecutive dual-meet victory earlier in the season with a third-place swim of 1:04.88 in the 100 breast at the University of San Diego (1-27-23)… Also posted the fastest time in the 200 breast (2:13.25) against the Toreros, but the result was deemed an exhibition… Helped the Aztecs defeat Pepperdine in a home dual meet after winning the 100 breast with a time of 1:03.04, adding a third-place performance in the 200 back with a season-best clocking of 2:16.83 (1-13-23)… Swam the breaststroke segment of SDSU’s No. 2 200 medley team that finished second in a double-dual sweep of Cal State East Bay and Incarnate Word (1-5-23)… Additionally logged the fastest time in the 200 breast (2:13.25) at that meet and swam a season-fast 1:02.56 in the 100 back, with her results counted as exhibitions… Contributed to the Aztecs’ team championship at the highly competitive SMU Invitational, highlighted by a second-place finish in the 200 breast (2:11.84) and a fourth-place performance in the 100 breast (1:01.49), both of which represented NCAA “B” cut times (11-17/19-22)… Also swam the breaststroke leg of SDSU’s No. 2 400 medley (3:41.47) and 200 medley relay (1:41.63) that placed third and fifth, respectively… Additionally finished third in the “B” finals of the 200 IM and 11th overall with a career-fast time of 2:03.31… Ended the meet with another collegiate-best swim, leading off the Aztecs’ “E” 400 freestyle relay team with a split of 53.37… Claimed a pair of event titles in the 100 (1:03.92) and 200 breast (2:19.71), helping the Scarlet and Black to a dual-meet victory over Utah Tech (11-5-22)… Helped SDSU compile a 6-0 record vs. LMU, Seattle and host Grand Canyon at the GCU Quad Meet with a trio of top-five individual performances (10-21/22-22)… Emerged victorious in the 100 breast (1:03.30) before finishing second in the 200 breast (2:18.64) and fifth in the 400 IM (4:38.28), the latter of which marked a career best… Also swam the breaststroke leg of the Aztecs’ “A” 400 medley relay that placed second (3:48.82) as well as SDSU’s “C” 200 medley relay that took fourth (1:45.12)… Contributed to the Aztecs’ second-place team finish at Fresno State’s Chick-Fil-A Invitational, where she placed sixth in the 200 breast (2:20.29) and tied for ninth in the 100 breast (1:03.90) (10-7/8-22)… Swam the breaststroke segment of SDSU’s victorious 200 medley relay (1:45.06) in a dual-meet win at Pepperdine (10-5-22)… Set a pair of season bests in the 50 free (26.48) and 100 fly (1:11.78) at the USD Pentathlon (9-9-22)… Earned Mountain West all-academic honors and received conference scholar-athlete recognition.
