Returned to SDSU for her junior season and opened the year by finishing second in the pentathlon meet vs. University of San Diego ... Her total time in the five events was just .26 behind to top finisher (teammate McKenna Meyer) ... Earned all-Mountain West recognition in the 200 and 400 individual medley as well as the 200 butterfly ... Placed third in both IM events and second in the 200 butterfly at the conference championship meet ... Also picked up all-conference accolades as a member of 800 freestyle relay team ... During the season recorded five first-place, seven second-place and six third-place finishes in individual dual meet events ... Earned all-conference recognition in the 200 and 400 individual medley as well as the 800 free relay at the Mountain West Championships ... Her time of 2:00.56 in the 200 IM at the league meet was the third-fastest in program history ... Her mark I the 400 IM (4:18.57) was also the third-best ever by an Aztec ... The 800 free relay team set a school record at the met with a mark of 7:06.64 ... Was named the Mountain West Swimmer of the Week on Jan. 15 as she won the 200 free, 500 free and 200 individual medley ... Arrived at San Diego State from Sweden one year after having spent her junior season of high school in Colorado ... Attended Widenska Gymnasiet school in Stockholm, Sweden, where she graduated in 2013 ... Spent her junior year (2011-12) as an exchange student at Lewis Palmer High School in Monument, Colo., where she competed in the freestyle and individual medley events ... Did not lose a race during the regular season and qualified for the state meet in every individual event, earning NISCA/Speedo All-America honors in the 200 IM and 100 fly along the way ...
