2022-23 SEASON (As A Freshman): Swam in 11 meets during her first year on The Mesa … Recorded a pair of season bests in the 100 breaststroke (1:05.63) and 200 breaststroke (2:25.95) in the Aztecs’ dual-meet finale at San Diego, which counted as exhibition results (1-27-23) … Won the ‘D’ final of the 100 breast (1:06.42) and swam anchor in SDSU’s fifth 400 freestyle relay team at the SMU Invitational (11-17/19-22) … Also established a season-best in the preliminaries of the 200 individual medley (2:12.47) that same weekend in Dallas … Completed the breaststroke segment in the Aztecs’ fourth 400 medley relay team in a home dual vs. Utah Tech and led off the team’s third 200 freestyle relay group (11-5-22) … Anchored SDSU’s second 400 freestyle relay and the Aztecs’ fourth 400 medley relay team at the GCU Quad Meet (10-21/22-22) … Also swam a season-fast 27.24 in the 50 freestyle that same weekend in Phoenix, with her result considered an exhibition … Ended the year by racing in 12 of 14 events vs. San Diego in a long course meet at Aztec Aquaplex (4-20-23) … Earned a spot on the Mountain West all-academic team following the spring semester.

PRIOR TO COLLEGE: Graduated in 2022 from Cherry Creek High School in Englewood Colorado, where she was member of the Bruins’ back-to-back class 5A state championship squads during her junior and senior campaigns … Posted a 12th-place finish in the 100 breaststroke (1:05.37) at the 2022 state meet … Swam two seasons for Cheyenne (Wyo.) South High to begin her prep career … Placed sixth in the 100 breaststroke at the Wyoming state meet as a freshman in 2018 … Additionally competed for the Denver Hilltoppers and Aquawolves club teams before enrolling at San Diego State … Finished fourth in the 100 breaststroke at the 2021 Western Zone Senior Championships in Fresno, California, to go with an eighth-place effort in the 200 breaststroke, according to Swimcloud.com … Was also a two-time finalist at the Speedo Sectionals in Phoenix, Arizona, earlier that year, landing in the runner-up spot in the 200 breast before logging a third-place effort in the 100 breast.

PERSONAL: Born in Fort Collins, Colorado … Daughter of Adrienne Hunter … Enjoys hiking, paddleboarding and watching sunsets … Majoring in psychology at SDSU with plans to become a sports psychologist.
