Mountain West All-Academic Team (Spring 2025)
2024-25 SEASON (As A Freshman): Competed in 13 meets during her first year on The Mesa… Made her collegiate debut at the season-opening USD Pentathlon, where she placed 22nd in the individual standings (9-13-24)… Set season bests in the 50 free (26.07), 100 back (1:05.34) and 100 breast (1:14.74) that day… Finished seventh in the 150 freestyle (1:26.58) in a distance meet against the same Torero squad two weeks later (9-27-24)… Swam the third leg of the Aztecs’ fourth-place 200 freestyle ‘B’ relay in a 95-42 sprint meet victory at Pepperdine (10-3-24)… Contributed to SDSU’s second-place team finish at the Fresno State Invitational after placing eighth in the 1,650 freestyle with a swim of 18:20.68 (10-5-24)… Additionally swam the third leg of the Aztecs’ 800 freestyle ‘B’ relay that finished 10th… Recorded a season-best time of 10:54.82 in the 1,000 freestyle on day one of a weekend sweep at Alaska Fairbanks (10-11-24)… Added a third-place effort in the 100 freestyle (55.39) on day two vs. the Nanooks (10-12-24)… Led off SDSU’s 400 freestyle ‘D’ relay with a season-fast split of 53.82 at the Hawkeye Invitational and registered a season-best time of 4:39.14 in the preliminaries of the 400 IM (11-22/23-24)… Helped the Scarlet and Black to a double-dual sweep of New Mexico and Pepperdine with a third-place swim of 10:56.03 in the 1,000 free (1-2-25)… Also contributed to another double-dual meet sweep of Colorado College and Cal State East Bay five days later with a second-place performance in the 1,000 free (11:03.01) and a third-place effort in the 500 free (5:15.56), the latter of which marked a season best (1-7-25)… Additionally swam the second leg of the Aztecs’ fourth-place 200 freestyle ‘B’ relay (1:40.58) that day… Logged a season-fast swim in the 1,650 free (18:02.58) in a friendly at San Diego (1-24-25)… Earned a spot on the Mountain West all-academic team following the season.
PRIOR TO COLLEGE: Graduated in 2024 from Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins, Colorado, after beginning her prep career across town at Liberty Common High… Won a gold medal in the 200 freestyle (1:54.23) and took home a bronze in the 500 freestyle (5:08.34) at the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) 3A State Championships as a sophomore in 2022, helping Liberty Common to fourth-place team finish… Helped Fossil Ridge capture the Front Range League title as senior in 2024 with a fourth-place effort in the 500 free (5:15.89)… Also swam on Fossil Ridge’s second-place 200 free relay and third-place 400 free relay at the conference meet that season… Finished her prep career with a 11th-place finish in the 200 free (1:56.10) and a 13th-place standing in the 500 free (5:14.33) at the 2024 CHSAA 5A State Championship… Swam at the club level for the Fort Collins Area Swim program, logging a fourth-place finish in the 1,000 free (10:09.72) and a sixth-place result in the 1,650 free (17:00.23) at the 2023 Speedo Sectionals in Federal Way, Washington… Also competed for the Loveland (Colo.) Swim Club.
