2026 SEASON - JUNIOR
One of three Aztecs to start all 50 games, spent the first five contests at designated player before moving to first base for the remaining 45… Led the team with 11 home runs… Finished second on the roster with 17 extra base hits and 33 RBIs and third with 76 total bases and 12 walks… Had a big performance against Loyola Chicago on Opening Day, doubling and scoring before hitting a run rule walk-off three-run home run… Against Oregon State on Feb. 14, singled and drove in a run before hitting another walk-off three-run home run, this time in the ninth inning… In a four-game stretch from Feb. 28 through March 7, tallied at least one extra base hit in each game, accumulating a 1.826 OPS with three home runs, five hits, nine RBIs, four runs scored and a walk… Homered in consecutive games at New Mexico on March 28 and 29… Became the fifth Aztec in the Stacey Nuveman Deniz era with a multi-homer game with a two-home run performance in the first game at San Jose state on April 11… Put together an impressive season defensively, recording 259 putouts and 11 assists against just two errors for a .993 fielding percentage… Her putouts ranked sixth in the Mountain West and her total chances placed eighth in the conference.

2025 SEASON - SOPHOMORE
Appeared in 20 games, drawing three starts as the designated player… Hit .238 (5-for-21) with three RBIs and a walk… Hit a game-tying two-run single against UNLV on April 12 for her first RBIs as an Aztec… Followed it up with an RBI groundout the next day… Made one appearance in the circle, pitching the final 0.2 innings against Army on February 9… Got the first hitter she faced to groundout and, after a double, induced another grounder to end the game.

UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA (2023)
Started 19 of her 37 games as a hitter for the Gators... Accumulated a .242 batting average and a .851 OPS in her season at Florida... Tallied nine extra base hits including four home runs... Drove in 15 runs and scored 11 times... Drew ten walks… As a pitcher, appeared in seven games, making one start… Pitched to a 6.30 ERA across ten innings… Struck out five batters.

CLUB BALL
Played six seasons for the Orange County Batbusters as a pitcher and first baseman… In 2016, was named to the USA Elite Select 30 All-American Team… Led the Batbusters to a 2022 Alliance Fastpitch National Championship.

HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered in three seasons at Patrick Henry High, pitching and playing first base... Garnered South San Diego CIF First Team, All-East County First Team and League MVP honors in 2021… Served as a team captain for the Patriots as a senior in 2022.

PERSONAL
Olivia Gigante was born Oct. 20, 2003, in San Diego… Daughter of Billy and Sheila Gigante… Mother, Sheila, is an SDSU alum… Is majoring in criminal justice… Chose SDSU over Florida, Arkansas, Oregon, Arizona and Utah.
