2025 SEASON - SENIOR
SDSU Single-Season Rankings (after the 2025 season): 8th in walks (32)
Started all 57 games, starting 20 of her 33 pitching appearances and also playing significant time in right field… As a batter, hit .222 (32-for-144) with eight doubles, seven home runs (second on the team), 25 RBIs, 19 runs scored and a team-leading 32 walks while stealing four bases on four attempts… Led the team with four game-tying runs scored, four game-tying RBIs and five game-winning runs scored while placing third as a part of 13 go-ahead plays… Named an All-Mountain West Second Team selection… Against Army on February 9, hit an RBI double and scored, had an RBI groundout and an RBI single… Walked twice and hit her first home as an Aztec against Weber State on February 28… Belted a game-tying two-run homer in the seventh inning at Utah State on March 16… Hit a two-run home run in a 2-1 win over Fresno State in the first game of a doubleheader on April 2… Launched a three-run home run to set up the run rule against Colorado State on April 6… Homered once more against UNLV on April 13… Came up with the Aztecs down to their last two outs and trailing 2-1 against Arizona State in the NCAA Los Angeles Regional on May 16 and hit a game-tying solo homer… As a pitcher, went 9-2 with a 3.14 ERA in 107 innings… Struck out 64 hitters and limited opposing batters to a .248 batting average… Pitched three complete games including one shutout and was a part of three shutouts… Started the first game of the year for the Aztecs, tossing five innings of one-run softball with three strikeouts against CSUN on February 6… Was within two outs of a no hitter against Army on February 9, finishing with six strikeouts (including strikeouts of all three hitters in the first inning) in 4.1 innings while allowing one run… Started the second game of the doubleheader against Fresno State on April 2, allowing just one run on one hit over five innings… Earned Mountain West Pitcher of the Week on April 28 after beating Arizona on April 26, starting and throwing six scoreless innings with two hits and no walks allowed to earn the win… Started in the team’s NCAA Los Angeles Regional win over Arizona State on May 16, limiting the Sun Devils to one run on one hit and no walks over three innings.

TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY (2021-23)
Started 42 of her 89 games as a hitter for the Aggies... Accumulated a .183 batting average and a .578 OPS across three seasons at Texas A&M... Tallied five extra base hits including three home runs... Drove in 16 runs and scored eight times... As a pitcher, appeared in 60 games, making 27 starts… Threw five complete games including a pair of shutouts while earning a save… Struck out 91 hitters, finishing with a 4.36 ERA.

HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered in all four seasons at Huntington Beach High… Led the Oilers to a quarterfinal finish in 2018 and a semifinal appearance in 2019, earning Orange County Pitcher of the Year and LA Times Player of the Year accolades in both seasons… As a pitcher, ranked in the top 50 rankings by FloSoftball (24), Extra Elite Top 100 (50) and Extra Innings Softball (25)… Struck out 59 hitters as a freshman, bringing home Crew Classic Tournament First Team and All-Sunset Second Team accolades… Bumped up her strikeout total to 70 as a sophomore with a 1.33 ERA on her way to becoming the Sunset League Pitcher of the Year. Improved her numbers even more as a junior, finishing with 78 strikeouts and a 1.99 ERA… Hit .385 at the plate with five home runs and 23 RBIs.

Grace Belle Uribe was born Aug. 31, 2002, in Glendale, Arizona… Daughter of Sara Smeltzer… Is pursuing a Masters of Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling with plans of becoming a therapist.
