2024 SEASON - JUNIOR
Played in all 51 games, starting 47 times, all in the outfield… Batted .241 (28-for-116) with 19 runs scored and two RBIs… Walked nine times while stealing eight games in ten attempts… Had seven multi-hit games… Finished with two hits, two walks and two stolen bases against Loyola Marymount on February 18… Went 2-for-2 with a stolen base and a pair of runs scored against Bethune-Cookman on February 23… Hit a pair of singles with an RBI and two runs scored in the regular season finale at UNLV on May 4… Went 2-for-3 with a pair of runs scored in the Mountain West Championship Game at Boise State on May 11.

Had another solid season in 2023 … Started all 56 games in the leadoff spot and in left field … Led SDSU in batting average (.393), runs (57), hits (75), stolen bases (30) and at-bats (191) … Also added six RBIs, three doubles, two triples and 15 walks for a .437 on-base percentage and a .429 slugging percentage … Committed just one error in 101 chances in left field for a .990 fielding percentage … Her 70 singles were a SDSU single-season record … Also ranked second in single-season history in stolen base (30), third in runs (57), tied for third in hits (75) and eighth in batting average (.393) … Her 75 hits were tied for the 18th most in the nation, while her 30 stolen bases ranked in a tie for 25th … Was named to the all-Mountain West second team after batting .352 (25-for-71) in league play with 25 runs and 13 stolen bases … Landed on the all-Mountain West Tournament Team after hitting .545 (6-for-11) with five runs and two stolen bases … Hit .500 (11-for-22) with five runs and two stolen bases in the NCAA tournament and also led SDSU with a .515 average (17-for-33) with 10 runs and four stolen bases overall in the postseason … Also led SDSU with 23 multi-hit games and 18 multi-run games … Her 21 go-ahead runs were 14 more than the next player on the team, while her 15 game-winning scores were nine more than No. 2 on the team … Finished the season on an 11-game hitting streak and had a long of 14 games from March 4-April 1.

Had a standout freshman season, batting .381 (67-for-176) and leading the team with 39 runs and 15 stolen bases … Started 53 of the team’s 55 games, including 35 at right field, 12 at second base and six in left field … Earned first-team all-Mountain West honors after hitting .390 (32-for-82) in league play with 16 runs and six stolen bases … Led the team with 21 multi-hit games.

CLUB BALL
Played her club ball for Firecrackers under head coach Tony Rico ... Firecrackers were the 2021 TCS champions and took seventh at the Alliance Nationals ... Made the Alliance Fastpitch all-tournament team in 2021 as a tier 18U.

HIGH SCHOOL - EDISON
Lettered four times at Edison High School in Huntington Beach, California ... Was the offensive player of the year as a sophomore and senior, and the defensive player of the year as a junior ... Was a first-team all-league pick as a sophomore and senior, and a second-team selection as a freshman ... Was ranked as the 83rd-best prospect in 2020 by Extra Innings Softball … Batted .333 for her career … Hit. 413 with 10 RBIs and 16 runs in 19 games as a senior … Also competed in field hockey for Edison.

Isabella Espinoza was born Jan. 13, 2003, in Orange, California … Daughter of Jesus and Brenda Espinoza... Majoring in kinesiology (pre-physical therapy).
