Delanie Wisz joins the Aztecs after a stellar career at UCLA and Loyola Marymount University. At UCLA she earned Women's College World Series All-Tournament Team honors in 2022, was a NFCA second team All-American (2022), earned Softball America second team All-American (2022), was a D1 Softball second team All-American (2022), and was a two-time All-Pac-12 honoree (First Team - 2022; Second Team - 2021). During her time in Westwood, she hit .352 over 141 games, with 35 home runs and 127 RBI, to go along with a .447 OBP. During her senior season the Orcutt, California native hit a staggering .405 and started all 61 games for the Bruins who made the Women’s College World Series and put together a 51-10 record in 2022. Wisz also got on base at a .505 clip, had a career-high 16 home runs and drove in a career-high 63 RBI in her redshirt senior season. Behind the dish in 2022 she caught four no-hitters, two perfect games, and owned a .990 fielding percentage. In NCAA Tournament play she led UCLA with a .448 average, three home runs and 17 RBI, which were second-most ever by a Bruin in the postseason.
