Was a four-year varsity player at Marina High School in Huntington Beach, Calif. ... Helped the Vikings capture three Sunset League championships and to three straight trips to the CIF tournament ... Led Marina HS to a 32-8 record in 2013 ... Hit .441 (15-for-34) in 2012 with five doubles, two triples and a home run ... Was named to the Marina Viking Larry Doyle Hall of Fame ...
