Pronounced ZAR-ee-ah MEE-shack ... A speedy outfielder, who has gone from a pinch runner to one of the top slap hitters on the West Coast ... Will look to continue her improvement for her final season ... Arguably the fastest runner on the team ... Also is a good fielder with excellent range.

2018 SEASON - SENIOR
Battled an early-spring injury to play in 47 of the team's 51 games, starting 39 times (38 in left field, once in center) ... Hit .210 (21-for-100) with six RBIs, 13 runs, nine walks, seven sac bunts and seven stolen bases ... Was perfect in the field in 55 fielding chances ... Was better in MW play, batting .267 (16-for-60) with five RBIs, five runs, four walks and four stolen bases, posting a .313 on-base percentage ... Had four multi-hit games and four multi-run games ... Had four go-ahead RBIs (fourth on team), three go-ahead runs, two game-winning RBIs and two game-winning runs ... Hit .302 (13-for-43) in home games (second on team) ... Had a hit in nine of the team's final 11 games, going 11-for-30 (.367) ... Ended her career in style with a walk-off single to score Janina Jusay to complete SDSU's sweep over Utah State on May 12.

Had a tremendous junior season, batting .415 (61-for-147) with 10 RBIs, 34 runs, 11 walks, seven stolen bases and five sacrifice bunts, posting a .459 on-base percentage ... Ended up posting the third-best batting average (.415) in SDSU single-season history with the fourth-most singles (59) ... Her .415 batting average ranked 36th in the country ... For her efforts was named a second-team NFCA All-West Region selection and a first-team all-MW pick ... Among the MW leaders, ranked fourth in batting average (.415) and tied for sixth in hits (61) ... Started 48 games and played in all 49 ... Started 36 times in left field, 11 in center field and one in right ... Was even better in MW play, batting .462 (36-for-78) with six RBIs, 23 runs, five walks and five stolen bases, owning a .500 on-base percentage ... Hit .360 (18-for-50) against teams that made the 2017 NCAA tournament ... Led the team with a .452 average (38-for-84) in away/neutral games ... Hit .448 (43-for-96) in day games ... Had 17 multi-hit games (tied for second on the team), eight multi-run games (tied for third on team) and eight go-ahead runs (second on team) ... Posted a 13-game hitting streak (March 31-April 30) and a 22-game streak of reaching base safely (March 10-April 30), both the longest of her career ... Had three straight games with two hits apiece from Feb. 11-12 ... Was 3-for-4 with a double and a run at Colorado State (March 26) ... Had back-to-back three-hit games against New Mexico on April 13-14, going 3-for-3 with a run on April 13 and 3-for-4 with four runs and an RBI on April 14 ... Had a good series at Boise State (April 21-23), going 7-for-12 (.583) with five runs ... Had a pair of three-hit games in the series finale at Nevada (May 11 and May 13).

2016 SEASON - SOPHOMORE
Had one of the most dramatic improvements from the previous year in the Kathy Van Wyk era ... Batted .368 (49-for-133) with seven RBIs, 31 runs, five walks, 13 stolen bases and five sacrifice bunts, recording a .396 on-base percentage and a .368 slugging percentage ... Also committed just one error in 56 fielding chances, posting a .982 fielding percentage ... Led the team with 13 stolen bases, the same number as the next-two players on the team ... The 13 stolen bases also ranked sixth in the Mountain West ... Started 46 games overall, including 22 each at center field and right field, one at left field and once as the designated player ... In MW play, batted .338 (22-for-65) with two RBIs, 13 runs, four walks, four stolen bases and four sacrifice bunts, posting a .377 on-base percentage and a .338 slugging percentage ... Also did not have an error in 35 chances in the field in league play ... Batted a team-high .422 (19-for-45) with 10 runs and six stolen bases in 17 games against teams that made last year's NCAA tournament ... Also hit a team-best .421 (8-for-19) with five runs and two stolen bases vs. nationally ranked teams ... Had 10 multi-hit games, six multi-run games, two multi-RBI games, eight go-ahead runs, a team-high six game-winning runs and on walk-off run ... Began her season with an 11-game hitting streak, which was tied with Jenavee Peres for the longest streak on the team ... Batted .472 (17-for-36) over the stretch with 12 runs scored ... Best game over the streak was against Texas Tech on Feb. 19, when she was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and three runs scored ... Followed that up with a pair of two-hit games with a run apiece vs. No. 22/25 California (Feb. 20) and San Diego (Feb. 21) ... Also had three hits and two runs vs. No. 11/9 Texas A&M on March 4 ... Recorded three hits, an RBI and a run vs. Princeton (March 19) ... Was a perfect 3-for-3 with a stolen base at UNLV on March 25 ... Was 2-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base in the opener of a doubleheader vs. Colorado State on April 8.

2015 SEASON - FRESHMAN
Had a big first season with San Diego State, appearing in 31 games off the bench, mainly as a pinch runner ... Was 1-for-2 (.500) with a walk, owning a .667 on-base percentage ... Scored nine runs as a pinch runner ... Also was a perfect 6-for-6 in stolen-base attempts, which matched Jenavee Peres for second most on the team ... Appeared in five Mountain West games, going 0-for-1 with a walk and five runs ... Also was 5-for-5 in stolen-base attempts ... Played her first career collegiate game vs. Purdue in the opener on Feb. 6 ... Scored her first career run the following day against Purdue, which ended up being the walk-off winning score ... Recorded her first career stolen base against Stanford (Feb. 22) ... Scored in back-to-back games vs. St. John's and Cal Poly on Feb. 27 ... Singled in her first career at-bat vs. Santa Clara on March 14 and also scored a run ... Scored in consecutive games vs. New Mexico (April 25) and at Utah State (May 2) ... Stole single bases in back-to-back contests at Utah State (May 2-3) ... SDSU was 8-1 when she scored a run and 6-0 when she stole a base.

CLUB - KG HITTERS
Played two years of club ball with the KG Hitters in Concord, Calif., under coaches Martin Garcia and Lashawn Wells.

HIGH SCHOOL - ST. PATRICK-ST. VINCENT
Was a four-year letterwinner at St. Patrick-St. Vincent in Vallejo, Calif., under coach Rich Gigilotti ... Earned the best offensive player award during her senior year with the Bruins ... Previously was awarded the MVP award (2013) and best defensive player award (2012) along with first-team honors her final three seasons (2012-14) ... Led the team to a runner-up finish at the NCS Div 4 Championships each of the last two years (2013-14) ... Was awarded the team's Coaches' Award her freshman year ... Was an all-state outfielder for small schools as a senior and was a nominee for Times-Herald Athlete of the Year ... Also played point guard for the Bruins' basketball team during her entire high school career ... Also was in the National Honors Society and a member of the California Scholarship Federation.
