Earned 2012 all-MW honors after going 4-1 with a 4.60 ERA over 35 innings, striking out a league-high 41 batters ... Was a team-best 17-8 overall with a 2.43 ERA over 167 innings ... Ranked among the SDSU season bests in strikeouts per seven innings (fourth, 8.30), strikeout-to-walk ratio (fourth, 6.60), winning percentage (seventh, .680), strikeouts (eighth, 198) and solo shutouts (since 1999) (6) ... Started 24 times and came in eight times in a relief role ... Got the win in her first start of the season against Portland State (Feb. 10), allowing three runs (two earned) on eight hits over seven innings, while striking out six ... Had a fantastic showing at the NCAA Los Angeles Regional, logging a 0.00 ERA in 5 2/3 innings of relief ... The numbers came against Fresno State, when she allowed a leadoff single, then retired the next 17 batters ... That was a .056 batting average ... Struggled a bit out of the gate with a 2-3 record, but then went 11 innings without allowing a run from March 5-19 ... Finished 2-5 with a 3.37 ERA over 79.0 innings ... Had 69 strikeouts to 13 walks ... Her three saves led the MWC and ranked in a tie for 28th in the nation ... Best game might have come against Southern Utah on Feb. 13 when she allowed one hit (home run) and a run over five innings of relief, while striking out eight against no walks to get the victory ... Came up big against Oregon on March 5, retiring the final 13 batters in SDSU[apos]s 5-2 win ... Tossed a perfect three innings of relief with four strikeouts to pick up her first career save against Bradley on March 12 ... Got the save by getting one out in her next game versus No. 25/rv Massachusetts on March 18 ... Earned the save after tossing 2 2/3 innings of scoreless relief against Harvard on March 20 ... Named the MWC Freshman of the Year ... Also selected to the all-MWC team ... Named the MWC Pitcher of the Week on March 11 and again on April 14 ... Won a school-record 15 decisions from Feb. 27-April 25 ... Went a career-high 38 innings without giving up a run from Feb. 27-March 13 ... Later had a 32.1 scoreless inning streak (March 21-April 24) ... Her 19-7 (.731) record was the third-best record in Aztec single-season history (minimum 12 decisions) and the best by a freshman ... After striking out seven over her first 15 innings (3.27-per-seven innings), she struck out 173 over her final 166 2/3 innings (7.27-per-seven innings) ... Earned the start and win in SDSU[apos]s first game against Pacific on Feb. 7, after allowing four runs (three earned) on four hits and one walk over five innings, while striking out two ... Pitched a combined 10.0 innings the next day (Feb. 8) ... Pitched much better in the second game, keeping fourth-ranked UCLA scoreless over five innings ... She gave up four hits and a walk, while striking out one ... Had her best game of her career against Utah State on Feb. 12 where she struck out 13 over eight innings, while allowing just three hits to pick up the victory ... The 13 strikeouts are tied for the fourth most in school history, trailing only Celena Velasquez and Cori Janelli[apos]s 15, both set in the 2005 season, and Samantha Beasley[apos]s 14 set March 20 of this season ... Had a no-hitter through the first six innings of the game ... Two of the three hits she gave up were in the final frame, including a solo homer accounting for the only run in SDSU[apos]s 3-1 win ... The lone run ended a then career-long 13.0 inning scoreless streak, dating back to the UCLA game ... Allowed just one run over 14 innings of ball from Feb. 25-March 1 (0.50 ERA), as she went 2-0 with 19 strikeouts ... Best performance came against Santa Clara on March 1, when she struck out 10, while allowing four hits, in just five innings in a 12-0 shutout ... Was even better the next weekend (March 6-8), going 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA and 24 strikeouts against three walks over 19 innings ... Tossed another one-hitter against Miami (OH) on March 12, where she struck out eight over five innings ... Threw a shutout at Cal State Fullerton on March 20 for her ninth victory in a row ... Also had a career-high five putouts in the game ... Threw a one-hit shutout in the Aztecs 5-0 win at UNLV on April 5 with seven strikeouts ... After back-to-back shutouts, she struck out six over four innings to combine with Beasley for another shutout ... Struck out nine in a four-hit shutout over New Mexico on April 11 ... Logged 1 2/3 innings of relief against the Lobos the following day ... Earned MWC Pitcher of the Week honors on April 14 for her play from April 7-12 ... Tossed 4 2/3 innings of scoreless ball with four strikeouts at Utah to get the win on April 17 ... Pitched another complete game victory at Colorado State on April 25, allowing just one earned run ... Had eight strikeouts, but gave up a three-run homer in the top of the seventh in the Aztecs[apos] 3-2 loss to Utah on April 30 ... The loss snapped her school-record 15-game winning streak ... Started a new streak the following day when she tossed 3 2/3 innings of scoreless relief in San Diego State[apos]s 5-4 come-from-behind victory over Brigham Young ... Pitched well the following day against the Cougars, registering 10 strikeouts over 8 2/3 innings and allowing just one earned run in a tough-luck loss ... Was perfect through five innings against UNLV on May 9 before giving up a run on three hits over six frames to get the win ... Pitched in both NCAA tournament games ... SDSU was 12-3 this season when she had at least five strikeouts.

HIGH SCHOOL - PIONEER
Four-year letterwinner at Pioneer High School in Woodland, Calif., for coach Linda Merrida ... Help the Patriots capture four consecutive Tri-County League championships ... The team was also the 2006 section champs and 2008 runner-ups ... Earned league MVP honors her final three years and was a four-time all-TCL selection ... Was an all-state small school[apos]s pick numerous times as well as a Sacramento Bee All-Metro first and second-team selection over her four-year career ... Compiled a 79-10 record in the circle with a 0.34 ERA and 1,291 strikeouts ... Also competed in volleyball two years as an outside hitter and four years as a varsity power forward on the basketball team ... Was a three-year team captain for the hoops team.

Bailey Lynn Micetich was born Jan. 27, 1990, in Sonora, Calif. ... Is the daughter of Abrina and Don Micetich ... Chose San Diego State over 2008 NCAA tournament teams Nevada and Fresno State, as well as San Diego ... Is majoring in kinesiology with aspirations of becoming a physical education teacher.
