2010 SEASON - JUNIOR
Was used mostly as a pinch runner ... Reached base safely on each of her plate appearances... Appeared in 13 games with 11 coming as a pinch runner, one as a second baseman and one as a pinch hitter/second baseman ... Scored a run in the team[apos]s win over Purdue on Feb. 12 ... Singled and was hit by a pitch on Feb. 13 versus Southern Utah ... Also appeared as a pinch-runner versus Oregon (Feb. 13) and Texas Tech (Feb. 14) ... Came in as a pinch-runner against Western Kentucky on Feb. 19, then stayed in to play second base in the win ... Other appearances came against UTEP (March 4), Buffalo (March 10), Kansas (March 19), San Diego (April 2), UNLV (May 1), Utah (May 8) and both games at New Mexico (May 14-15) ... The Aztecs were 12-1 when she played.

2009 SEASON - SOPHOMORE
Had three starts to her credit in nine appearances, each at second base ... Had a .500 on-base percentage in (14 plate appearances), which was the highest-mark on the team ... Was hit by a pitch twice, tied for the second-most on the team ... Earned the start against Cal Poly on Feb. 8 at the Stacy Winsberg Memorial Tournament at UCLA ... Went 0-for-2, but did record three assists with a putout ... Also started against UC Santa Barbara on Feb. 14 and reached base on two of her three plate appearances (single and hit by pitch) ... Earned another plate appearance against Santa Clara on March 1 and drew a walk ... Earned the start at second against Vermont on March 6, her first since Feb. 14 ... Came through with a single and a walk in four plate appearances ... Was hit by a pitch against Miami (OH) on March 12 ... Was 0-for-1 with a walk in the Aztecs[apos] 11-0 win over Utah on April 18 ... Also scored a run in the Utes game, her first run scored of the season ... Aztecs were 8-1 when she got a plate appearance.

2008 SEASON - FRESHMAN
Played in 15 games with eight starts to her credit, all at second base ... Starts came against UC Davis (Feb. 9), Tulsa (Feb. 16), Utah State (Feb. 17), No. 6/8 Oklahoma (Feb. 23), Saint Peter[apos]s (Feb. 29), Loyola-Chicago (March 5), New Mexico State (March 14) and Brigham Young (April 12) ... Reached base safely 36.7 percent of her plate appearances, which would put her fourth if she had enough plate appearances to qualify ... One of five Aztecs to have a triple ... Had a perfect fielding percentage in 30 chances ... Was 5-for-12 (.417) with runners in scoring position and 6-for-17 (.353) with runners on base ... Made her debut against California on Feb. 8, recording an out in the field and grounding out in her only plate appearance ... Earned her first start the next day against UC Davis and scored a season-high two runs on a season-high three walks ... Recorded her first hit against Tulsa on Feb. 16 ... Had her first sacrifice bunt against Fresno State on Feb. 16 ... Had a season-high two hits, including her first career triple and RBI in SDSU[apos]s 4-0 win over Utah State on Feb. 17 ... Scored a run against No. 18/19 Georgia on Feb. 23 ... Tied her season high with two hits and added a run and a RBI in SDSU[apos]s 11-0 win over Saint Peter[apos]s on Feb. 29 ... Singled and added a walk versus New Mexico State on March 14 ... Aztecs were 6-2 when she started and 4-0 when she recorded a hit.

HIGH SCHOOL - LIVE OAK
A two-year letterwinner at Live Oak High School in Gilroy, Calif., under coach Barry McDonnell and two-year letterwinner at Archbishop Mitty High School with coach Sarah Cottie ... Helped the Acorns to a league title and a CCS championship with a 11-2 conference record ... Team was 24-6 overall ... Named second-team all-Blossom Valley League on two occasions ... Was selected as the Oak High School Athlete of the Year after her senior campaign ... Also was a forward on the basketball team and a defender on the field hockey squad at Live Oak.

PERSONAL
Taylor Marie Sutton was born Dec. 14, 1988, in Gilroy, Calif. ... Is the daughter of Stacey and Earl Sutton ... Her sister, Alex, lettered in softball at California from 2004-07 ... Has a twin brother, Blaine, and two younger brothers, Connor and Hunter ... Chose San Diego State over the likes of Kentucky and Iowa ... Is currently majoring in nursing but may change to elementary education with plans to be a kindergarten or first grade teacher.
