Won her only decision on the year ... Started four times in six appearances ... Despite having two 2009 all-MWC performers and the MWC Pitcher of the Year on the roster, it was Petty who drew the opening day start against Creighton on Feb. 11 ... Making her first start since 2008, she surrendered three runs (one earned) on two hits and two hit batters over three innings, while striking out three without a walk ... Also started against Southern Utah on Feb. 13 but was chased out of the game after allowing three hits and three runs over two innings of work ... After not playing for eight straight games, she earned the start against Fordham on Feb. 25 ... Scattered one run on five hits and two walks over 4 1/3 innings to pick up her first win of the season ... Also had four strikeouts ...
