2026 SEASON - JUNIOR
Started all 37 games in which she appeared (mostly in right field) out of 50 total… Ranked in the top three players on the team in batting average (.364, 2nd), doubles (7, 3rd), triples (2, 2nd), home runs (7, 3rd) and extra base hits (16, 3rd)… Was 40-for-110 with a team-leading 1.073 OPS (.655 SLG and .418 OBP)… Drove in 28 runs and scored 17 times… Drew six walks and was hit by a pitch five times… Named to the All-Mountain West First Team after leading the team in batting average at bats, runs, hits, doubles, triples, home runs, extra base hits, RBIs, total bases, slugging percentage and OPS during conference play… Her Mountain West season earned her spots in the record books for hits (T-5th), extra base hits (3rd), doubles (T-5th), triples (T-3rd), home runs (6th), RBIs (T-5th), total bases (T-3rd), and multi-RBI games (t-4th)… Over a four-game stretch from March 22-29 at UNLV and New Mexico, went 10-for-13 with three doubles, two triples, three home runs, ten RBIs, four runs scored and a walk for a .769 batting average and 2.786 OPS… Drove in three runs with a single and a sacrifice fly against Utah State on April 3… Went 3-for-4 with a home run and two singles against Boise State on April 26… Logged a .974 fielding percentage with 68 putouts and six assists.

Redshirted during the 2024 season.

FLORIDA (2023)
Started 24 of her 37 appearances including starting all four games in the Stanford Regional... Hit .261 with seven doubles, three homers and 17 runs batted in... Had hits twice and drove in multiple runs on five occasions... Launched a game-tying home run against Kentucky in what would be a 6-2 win. 

CLUB BALL
Played her club ball with Athletics Mercado... Led her squad to a Colorado Sparkler title and an Alliance Tier 1 national title in 2021 while hitting .420 with a 1.289 OPS... Helped her team to another Colorado Sparkler championship the next season while being named an Alliance All-Star.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Martin Luther King High in Riverside... Ranked as the No. 3 recruit in the nation by Extra Innings Sports and the No. 2 shortstop by Extra Innings and MaxPreps... Garnered her school’s Offensive Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year in 2019 while also landing on the Inland Sports All-Area Team.

Kaila Pollard was born in Riverside, Calif… Daughter of Christy and Todd Pollard.… Sister, Jordan Olivarez, played softball at Villanova.
