2020 SEASON - JUNIOR
Started the first 21 games of the season at third base before dislocating a shoulder and missing the final seven games ... Batted .265 (18-for-68) with a home run, nine RBIs, 11 runs, four doubles, a triple and four walks, while posting a .397 slugging percentage and .306 on-base mark ... Only had three errors in 63 chances for a .952 fielding percentage ... Batted .360 in day games, .311 in games won and .300 in road/neutral games ... Tied for the team lead with six multi-hit games (in just 21 games played), and tied for second in multi-run games (2) and tied for fourth in multi-RBI games (2) ... Added three go-ahead RBIs (T-3rd on team) and two game-winning RBIs (T-3rd on team) ... Started out the season with two hits, including a double, RBI and run at Jacksonville on Feb. 6 ... Was 3-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and two runs vs. Villanova on Feb. 8 ... In the nightcap vs. Nicholls, was 2-for-3 with two RBIs, a run and a triple ... Had two hits and two runs vs. Southern Utah on Feb. 14 ... Had a monster game vs. Southern Utah on Feb. 16, going 2-for-3 with a home run, four RBIs and a run scored ... Added two hits vs. Idaho State on Feb. 20.

2019 SEASON - SOPHOMORE
Was the lone Aztec to start all 51 games on the season, including 40 at third base, 10 at shortstop and once as the designated player ... Hit .291 (44-for-151) with four home runs, 26 RBIs, 14 runs, 11 doubles, 11 walks, a .444 slugging percentage and a .344 on-base percentage ... Led the team in doubles (tied), home runs (tied), RBIs and total bases (tied) ... Hit .275 (19-for-69) in Mountain West play with one home run, 13 RBIs, four runs and six doubles, posting a .406 slugging percentage and .333 on-base percentage ... Had 12 multi-hit games and six multi-RBI games ... Had a team-high five game-winning RBIs to go along with four go-ahead RBIs and one walk-off RBI ... Hit .294 against nationally ranked teams, .365 in games SDSU won, and 315 in day games ... Batted team highs of .354 with runners on base, .320 with runners on base and two outs and .313 with runners in scoring position with two outs ... Had a huge game against Charlotte on Feb. 8, going 3-for-4 with a career-high six RBIs, a home run, two doubles and a run ... Was 3-for-4 with a walk-off two-run homer vs. Northern Illinois on Feb. 15 ... Had three hits, an RBI and a run vs. Robert Morris on March 7 ... Had three hits, including two doubles, at San Diego on April 10.

2018 SEASON - FRESHMAN
Started in all 28 games she played in at third base as a freshman, missing the other 23 with a broken hand ... Batted .294 (25-for-85) with eight RBIs, six runs, three doubles, four walks and three times hit by a pitch, owning a .329 slugging percentage and a .348 on-base percentage ... Played in 21 of the 24 Mountain West games, batting .313 (20-for-64) with eight RBIs, four runs, two doubles, three walks and three times hit by pitch, posting a .344 slugging percentage and a .371 on-base mark ... Had seven multi-hit games, including a team season-high four hits vs. UNLV on April 8 ... Also had two multi-RBI games ... Finished with three go-ahead RBIs, two go-ahead runs and two game-winning runs ... Had a season-high three RBIs at Fresno State on April 20.  

CLUB - FIRECRACKERS - BRASHEAR
Played her club ball for the Firecrackers - Brashear under head coach Sean Brashear.  

HIGH SCHOOL - MATER DEI CATHOLIC
Earned four letters at nearby Mater Dei Catholic in Chula Vista, Calif. ... Played pitcher, shortstop and third base for the Crusaders ... Was a three-time second-team all-CIF selection and a three-time first-team all-league pick ... Was named the team's defensive player of the year ... According to MaxPreps, over the last two years batted .423 (63-for-149) with five home runs, 10 doubles, two triples, 36 RBIs, 42 runs and six stolen bases, while posting a .472 on-base percentage and .617 slugging percentage ... A two-time participant in the OnDeck National Elite Future Camp ... Also played four years of basketball at Mater Dei, helping the team to CIF championship in 2017 ... A four-year scholar athlete.

Kelsey Angelique Munoz was born Feb. 9, 1999, in La Mesa, Calif. ... Daughter of Ambrosia Martinez ... Also plays for the Mexican National Team ... Was also recruited by Cal State Fullerton, Indiana, Michigan State and Buffalo ... Is majoring in sociology.
