2024 SEASON - SENIOR
For the second straight year, named to the All-Mountain West First Team… Started 19 of her 37 appearances, finishing with a team-leading 12 wins in a 12-9 record with a 2.76 ERA across a team-leading 124 1/3 innings… Lead the team with 69 strikeouts to just 31 walks while earning a pair of saves… Did not allow a run across her first 12 1/3 innings of the season, allowing just nine hits while striking out nine hitters including five strikeouts against Stanford… On February 17, struck out six, a season-high, in six innings with one run allowed against Texas A&M… Did not allow an earned run over a four-game, 13 2/3 inning stretch from Feb. 17-23, striking out eight including five against Nebraska… Those efforts earned her Mountain West Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 26… Struck out three over 4 2/3 scoreless innings at Cal State Fullerton on March 9… Allowed just one earned run across four games from March 24-April 3… She pitched 13 1/3 innings during that streak, striking out five… Closed out the regular season with a scoreless inning at UNLV on May 4… Excelled during the Mountain West Tournament, pitching 7 2/3 innings and allowing just one run on four hits while striking out six… She was named to the Mountain West All-Tournament Team for her efforts.

Followed her great play in the 2022 NCAA tournament with a standout 2023 campaign … Was named the Mountain West Pitcher of the Year, the 11th by an Aztec in program history … Also made her first all-conference team (first team) and first appearance on the all-NFCA West Region (second team) … Was a four-time MW Pitcher of the Week, including three straight weeks from March 28-April 11 … Became the fourth Aztec to win the award three consecutive weeks, joining  Christina Ross (Feb. 19-March 4, 2008), Samantha Beasley (April 6-20, 2010) and Maggie Balint (March 30-April 12, 2022) … Was 15-7 with a 1.90 ERA and a school-record seven saves in 132 2/3 innings … Her .682 winning percentage was the 10th best in program history … Started 17 games and played in 40 overall, playing a part in six Aztec shutouts … Struck out 106 with 20 walks, limiting the opposition to a .218 average … Ranked in a tie for sixth in the country in saves (7), while ranking 20th in walks allowed per seven innings (1.06) and 24th in strikeout-to-walk ratio (5.30) … Was even better in MW play, going 7-1 with two saves and a 1.37 ERA across 61 1/3 innings, striking out 36 against 12 walks, while limiting the opposition to a .213 average … Was 5-1 with a 2.10 ERA in 26 2/3 innings in the postseason (MW tournament and NCAA tournament), striking out 20 with three walks, and playing a part in three SDSU shutouts … Had a 25.1 inning scoreless streak from March 24-April 8 and a seven-game win streak from March 7-April 12.

2022 SEASON - SOPHOMORE
Appeared in 28 games in her first season at SDSU, starting 13 times … Was 7-4 with a 3.64 ERA in 59 2/3 innings, logging one save and playing a part in three Aztec shutouts … Held her opponents to a .259 average, and struck out 66 with 15 walks … Was 2-2 with a 4.20 ERA in 16 2/3 innings in Mountain West play, limiting her opponents to a .214 average … Excelled in the NCAA tournament, going 2-1 with a 3.00 ERA in 14 innings, striking out 15 with just three walks, and holding the opposition to a .226 average … Came up big in an Aztec win over Cal State Fullerton in the NCAA Tempe Regional with a season-high seven strikeouts over a season-high 5 1/3 innings, giving up just one hit and a walk.

ARKANSAS (2021)
Appeared in 16 games in relief, going 0-0 with a 2.62 ERA in 16 innings ... Struck out nine and walked three ... Made her collegiate debut with 2 1/3 innings against McNeese on Feb. 20, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk, while striking out two ... Pitched two innings of scoreless relief against Arizona in the Super Regional on May 28, striking out two.

CLUB BALL
Played travel ball for the Carolina Elite and earned third in the Junior Olympic Cup as a junior.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played at Lexington High School in South Carolina ... Recorded a career ERA of 1.90 … Captured a South Carolina 5A State Championship as a junior… As a senior threw 63.2 innings and compiled a 2.86 ERA with 73 strikeouts to 13 walks … In junior season totaled 59 innings and a 1.07 ERA with a career-best 101 strikeouts to only two walks … Pitched 38 innings as a sophomore with a 1.29 ERA allowing one walk to 22 strikeouts … Logged 20 innings as a freshman with a 2.45 ERA … Also hit .275 in her career with 26 RBIs and four homers.

PERSONAL
Daughter of Sam and Tanya Light … Majoring in marketing with a specialization in IMC... Has volunteered with the Samaritan’s Women Home, Lakeside Senior Living, Relay for Live and Special Olympics.
