2018 Season
Appeared in 17 matches while making 14 starts and totaling 1,176 minutes... Attempted just one shot (vs. UNLV)... Tied a career-high with 110 minutes played against San Francisco... Had five other games where he played the entire game.
2017 Season
Appeared in 14 matches, making 12 starts on the back line... Attempted one shot at Stanford (Nov. 5)... Logged a season-high 95 minutes in a 2-1 loss at UCLA (Oct. 15).
2016 Season
Solid contributor to an Aztec back line that ranked fourth in the nation in shutout percentage (0.58) and 10th in team goals against average (0.63) ... Started 13 of the 14 matches he appeared in ... Ranked fifth on the squad with 1,175 minutes ... Played full time in 10 contests, including SDSU's historic 1-0 victory over top-ranked Akron on Sept. 2 ... Logged a season-high 110 minutes in a trio of double-overtime draws against UIC (Aug. 26), at Cal Poly (Sept. 17) and vs. Oregon State (Sept. 26) ... Earned Pac-12 all-academic honorable mention.
2015 Season
Utilized redshirt season.
High School/Club
Played at Emerald Ridge High in Puyallup, Washington... Earned one varsity letter for head coach Phil Harris... Was on the Washington state championship team in 2012... That same year he played on the U.S. regional finalist squad... Helped his team to the USSDA league title and the national final in 2014... Was team captain of the U-18 Seattle Sounders Academy... Also competed in track and field.
Personal
Son of Sheppard and Gina Clarke... Is one of three triplets to play collegiate sports... Brother Wainwright plays football at Hillsdale College in Michigan, while sister Rileymarie played basketball at Air Force... Lists former Seattle Seahawks long snapper Nate Boyer as his favorite athlete.
