Since 2014, Vigil has been the director of business development and a head coach with Albion SC, securing the club’s first multi-year corporate partnership and assists with the USSDA 13/14 team.
Vigil served two seasons as an assistant coach with UC Riverside’s men’s soccer program, specializing in recruiting, video analysis, player development and team operations. During his tenure from 2012-14, players in each season were drafted by MLS teams, the team earned a NSCAA top 25 national ranking for the first time in program history, and recorded single-season records for wins, goals and assists.
Vigil began his coaching career at his alma mater, Cal State San Bernadino. For four seasons from 2008-12, he served as an assistant for the school’s men’s and women’s soccer programs, earning a promotion to associate head coach for the 2011 campaign. His time on Cal State San Bernadino’s staff saw the program’s first NSCAA No. 3 national ranking. As the recruiting coordinator, he recruited the school’s first two All-Americans, and also helped with player development, supervision of assistant coaches, monitoring academic progress of the student-athletes and external relations.
Vigil was a four-year starter at Cal State San Bernadino and a three-time team captain. He possesses a USSF National ‘A’ License and graduated from Cal State San Bernadino in 2007 with a degree in kinesiology. He earned his master’s degree in organizational leadership from Gonzaga in 2013.
