Entering 2015 season

Carlos Menjivar begins his second season as Director of Operations, after enjoying a long international playing career and gaining recent coaching experience.

A two-year letterwinner for the Aztecs in 2000-01, Menjivar returns to The Mesa after coaching United FC from 2010-12, as well as the Temecula Hawks soccer academy in 2013.

As a player, Menjivar appeared in over 250 professional matches in El Salvador's first division over a span of nine years, and represented El Salvador in over 36 international matches (2002-04, 2007-09). Menjivar also played in two Gold Cups (2003, 2007) as well as 10 CONCACAF champions league matches.

Born in San Francisco, Calif., Menjivar scored the first-ever goal at SDSU Sports Deck for the Aztec men's soccer program in a 5-0 victory over Christian Heritage in 2000, giving head coach Lev Kirshner his first-career victory as a Division I head coach.
