2023-24 (As A Sophomore)
Was named to the PING All-West Region team and an all-Mountain West selection, each for the first time of his career … Led SDSU with a 70.91 scoring average (-20) through 12 tournaments, which is the sixth-best stroke average in recorded program history (since 1993-94) … Also topped SDSU in rounds below par (21) and rounds in the 60s (13) ... Out of 12 tournaments, he had one win, two top-5s, four top-10s and six top-20s.
Spring: Ranked first in the spring with a 71.70 scoring average across eight tournaments … Paced SDSU in the spring with 13 rounds below par (next highest is seven) and seven rounds in the 60s … Tied for sixth at the Southwestern Invitational from Jan. 29-31 at 7-under 206 with rounds of 69, 67 and 70 … Tied for 36th at the John Burns Intercollegiate (Feb. 15-17) at 2-over 218 … Tied for 12th at the Southern Highlands Collegiate from Feb. 25-27 at 1-under 215 … Opened with a 69 at the San Diego Classic from March 4-5, but was disqualified in the second round … Tied for 19th as SDSU’s top finisher at The Goodwin (March 28-30), rebounding from an opening 74 with a 69 and 68 to finish at 1-over 211 … Tied for 57th at the Western Intercollegiate from April 15-17 at 11-over 221 (81-67-73) … Tied for 36th at the Mountain West Championship at 5-over 221 (74-70-77) from April 26-28 … Was SDSU’s top finisher at the NCAA West Lafayette Regional from May 13-15 at 2-under 214, tying for 14th out of 78 golfers … Logged rounds of 74, 69 and 71.
Fall: Opened with a T22 at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate on Sept. 8-10 at 6-under 207 (66-70-71) ... Was the team's top finisher at the Husky Invitational on Sept. 18-19, trying for 32nd at 1-over 217 (74-70-73) ... Holed out for eagle on the par-4, 428-yard sixth hole to win the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate (Sept. 25-26) at 11-under 205 ... Entered the day in a tie for sixth, but fired a 5-under 67 when the average score was 74.00 ... It was his first collegiate win ...The 205 was a 54-hole collegiate low for Kowack, who went 72-66 and 67 … Was the team’s top finisher again at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup from Oct. 9-10, tying for fifth at 12-under 204, which was his 54-hole career low … For the tourney, shot a 69, 66 and 69.

Played in nine tournaments for the season, including six in the starting five ... Was sixth on the team with a 72.76 scoring average ... Also tied for second on the team with six even-par rounds.
Spring: Averaged a 73.75 mark in 16 rounds in the spring ... Tied for 16th at the CSU San Marcos Fujikura Invitational at 4-over 220 while competing as an individual ... Was in the starting lineup at the Southern Highlands Collegiate from Feb. 26-28, tying for 75th at 13-over 229 ... Came in 21st as an individual at the Lamkin San Diego Classic (March 6-7) at even-par 216, including a 2-under 70 in the second round ... Was back in the starting lineup for the rest of the season ... Tied for 69th at the Arizona N.I.T. from March 17-18 at 6-over 222 ... Tied for 27th out of 55 golfers at the Mountain West Championship from April 28-30 at 1-under 215 ... Opened with a 6-over 78 a the NCAA Salem Regional on May 15, but did not compete the next two rounds.
