Has the best career scoring average in recorded program history (since at least 1993-94) at 71.46 through 96 rounds, just ahead of Xander Schauffele’s 71.50 set from 2013-15 … Also has the lowest 18-hole score (62, tied with four others), 36-hole score (127 at 2023 Maui Jim Intercollegiate) and 54-hole score (195 at 2023 Maui Jim Intercollegiate).
2023-24 (As A Junior)
Earned PING All-West Region honors for a second straight season … Also made the 10-man all-Mountain West team for a second straight campaign … Played in 11 of the 12 tournaments on the season (missed SDSU’s Lamkin Classic while playing a PGA Tour event), ranking second on the team with a 71.03 scoring average (-14) … The 71.03 ranks eighth in SDSU single-season history (program records go back to 1993-94) … Also ranked second on the team in rounds below par (15) and rounds in the 60s (9) … Had a victory, three top-5 finishes and five top-10 showings.
Spring: Played in seven of the eight events in the spring, ranking third on the team with a 71.88 stroke average … Tied for 47th at the Southwestern Invitational from Jan. 29-31 at 6-over 219 … Was SDSU’s top finisher, tying for fifth out of 122 golfers at the John Burns Intercollegiate from Feb. 15-17 with a 6-under 210, including a 7-under 65 in the first round (also a 75 and 70 in the tournament) … Tied for 56th at the Southern Highlands Collegiate (Feb. 25-27) at 8-over 224 … Missed the cut at the PGA Tour’s Puerto Rico Open from March 7-10, despite shooting a 1-under 141 with a 71 and 70 … Tied for 111th at The Goodwin (March 28-30) … Tied for second out of 96 golfers at the Western Intercollegiate from April 15-17 at 3-under 207 … Shot rounds of 71, 70 and 66 on the par-70 Pasatiempo G.C. … The 66 matched the lowest third round and tied for the second-lowest round of the tournament … For his efforts, he was named the Mountain West Golfer of the Week … Tied for seventh out of 55 golfers at the Mountain West Championship, April 26-28, logging a 3-under 213 with rounds of 69, 73 and 71 … Finished with a T18 at the NCAA West Lafayette Regional from May 13-15 at 1-under 215 with rounds of 75, 72 and 68.
Fall: Completed a wire-to-wire victory at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate (Sept. 8-10) with an 18-under 195, the best 54-hole score in program history ... It was his second career collegiate victory but the first while competing in the Aztec starting five … He shaved off five strokes from his previous 54-hole low round of 202 at the 2023 MW Championship ... With the victory, he earned an exemption into a 2024-25 Korn Ferry Tour season event still to be determined ... Went 62 (tied for the lowest round in program history), 65 and 68 ... Tied for 44th at the Husky Invitational from Sept. 18-19 at 3-over 219 (73-74-72) ... Came in a tie for 31st at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate on Sept. 25-26 at even-par 216 (75-71-70) … Fired an 11-under 205 (70-67-68) to take seventh out of 42 golfers at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup from Oct. 9-10.
2022-23 (As A Sophomore)
Competed at the U.S. Amateur in the summer, but missed the cut at 13-over par ... Earned PING All-West Region honors ... Also was named all-Mountain West for the first time of his career ... Played in all 12 tournaments in the starting five, ranking second on the team with a 70.69 scoring average ... The 70.76 scoring average was third in SDSU single-season history (records go back to at least 1993-94) … Also led the team in rounds in the 60s (13), and was second in rounds below par (18) and tied for second in even-par rounds (36).
Spring: Played all nine tournaments in the spring, leading the team with a 70.67 scoring average ... Also topped SDSU in the spring in rounds in the 60s (9), and was tied for first in even-par rounds (6), while ranking second in rounds below par (13) ... Tied for ninth out of 66 golfers at the Southwestern Invitational (Jan. 30-Feb. 1) at 1-under 215 ... Tied for 14th out of 126 golfers at the John Burns Intercollegiate from Feb. 16-17 at 9-under 207, thanks to back-to-back 5-under 67 to close his tourney ... Came in a tie for 50th at the Southern Highlands Collegiate from Feb. 26-28 at 4-over 220 ... Finished runner-up at the Lamkin San Diego Classic from March 6-7 at 8-under 208, going 69-70-69 ... Tied for 44th at the Arizona N.I.T. (March 17-18) at even-par 216 ... Came in a tie for 16th (out of 116 golfers) at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic from April 3-4 at even-par 216 ... Tied for 22nd out of 92 at the Western Intercollegiate from April 10-12 at 4-over 214 ... Tied for fourth at the Mountain West Championships (April 28-30) at 14-under 202, the best 54-hole score of his career ... Went 71, 65 and 66 with the 65 being the lowest round of his career ... Came in a tie for 23rd out of 75 at the NCAA Salem Regional from May 15-17 at 6-under 210.
Fall: Played in all three tournaments in the fall ... Posted a 70.78 scoring average, which ranked fourth on the team ... Tied for the most rounds in the 60s (4) and was second in rounds below par (5) ... Tied for 31st at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate from Sept. 9-11 at 3-under 207 with rounds of 69, 67 and 71 ... Tied for 30th at the William Tucker Intercollegiate (Sept. 23-24) at 3-over 219 ... Tied for 15th at the Wolf Pack Intercollegiate on Oct. 10-11 at 1-under 215.
2021-22 (As A Freshman)
Played in nine tournaments on the season for the Aztecs with three starts ... Has a 73.00 stroke average, which ranked fifth on the team ... Captured the 2022 UC San Diego Invitational from March 21-22 at 9-under 207
Spring: Owned a 72.63 scoring average (second on team) in the spring across eight tournaments and 24 rounds ... Tied for 20th at the CSU San Marcos Fujikura Invite (Feb. 14-15) at 5-over 221 while competing as an individual ... Tied for 28th at The Prestige Individual Invitational from Feb. 21-23 at 9-over 225 ... Came in a tie for 64th at the Lamkin San Diego Classic (March 7-8) at 5-over 221 while competing as an individual ... Captured medalist honors at the UC San Diego Invitational (March 21-22) , beating out the 89-man field with a 9-under-par 207 ... Had rounds of 70 and 69 on Monday, and 68 on Tuesday ... Both the 207 and 68 were easily career lows (previous lows were 221 and 72) ... His 68 on Tuesday was particularly impressive as he was the only golfer in the field to shoot in the 60s and he was one of just seven to shoot under-par as the stroke average for the final round was 75.97 ... For his play at the UCSD Invite, he was named the MW Men's Golf Freshman of the Week on March 24 ... Competed in the starting lineup for the first time of his career at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic (April 11-13), tying for 41st out of 128 golfers at even-par 216 ... Tied for fifth out of 92 at the Western Intercollegiate at 3-over 213, leading the Aztecs overall ... For his efforts was named the MW Men's Golf Freshman of the Week on April 14 ... Tied for 38th at the Mountain West Championship (April 29-May 1) at 9-over 225 ... Was the team's top finisher at the NCAA Norman Regional from May 16-18 at 1-under 215, tying for 17th out of 75 golfers, opening with a 75, and ending with consecutive 2-under 70s.
Fall: Played in one tournament in the fall as an individual, taking 37th out of 45 golfers at 12-over 228 while competing as an individual at the Husky Individual Invitational on Sept. 20-21.
