Played in five tournaments, including four in the starting lineup ... Logged a 73.60 scoring average across 15 rounds ... Ranked second on the team in even-par rounds (5) ... Had one top-10 finish ... Opened with a tie for ninth at the Southwestern Invitational at 2-over 218 following rounds of even-par 72, 1-under 71 and 3-over 75 ... Tied for 72nd at The Prestige at 9-over 222, highlighted by a 1-under 70 in the second round ... Tied for 69th at the Lamkin San Diego Classic ... Shot an even-par 216 to tie for 44th at the National Invitational Tournament while competing as an individual thanks to three consecutive even-par 72s ... 2019-20 (As a Sophomore)
Only competed in one event as an individual, but finished in a tie for third at the Coronado Individual at 3-under 213 ... It was his collegiate career low 54-hole round ... Finished with a 3-under 69 in the final round, tying the lowest round of his collegiate career.
2018-19 (As a Freshman)
Played nine tournaments, including two individually in his freshman season … Had a scoring average of 73.36 in 25 rounds, the most rounds for any freshman on the team … Best performance of the season came at the Pioneer Creek Collegiate where he tied for seventh with teammate Newport Laparojkit with a score of 1-under 215 … Was the Aztecs’ top finisher at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate (Sept. 28-29) and the Southwestern Invitational (Feb. 25-26).
High School
Graduated in 2018 from Billings West High School, where he captured back-to-back Class AA Montana state individual championships during his junior and senior campaigns following two consecutive runner-up placements … Broke his own state tournament scoring record with an 11-under-par 133 (67-66) en route to the 2017 crown … Led the Bears to three straight team titles and one second-place finish (2018) in his prep career … Also played basketball as a guard for Billings West.
Amateur/Junior Golf
Has excelled in junior and amateur competition as well, winning the boys 16-18 title at the MSGA Junior State Golf Championship for the second time earlier this summer, notching an eagle on the final hole to earn the victory … Emerged triumphant in the same event in 2017, recording another eagle on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff to take home the trophy … Claimed his second straight medalist honor that same year at the Montana Trusted Choice Big I Tournament … Tied for first in regulation at the Barnett Memorial before falling in a playoff … Finished as amateur champion at the 2017 Lake City Open and was the low amateur at the Gallatin Valley Open … Qualified for the 2016 U.S. Junior Amateur, where he advanced to the round of 32 in match play after tying for 18th in stroke play … Won his earlier sectional in Sioux Falls, S.D. … Four-time competitor at the Junior America’s Cup and twice played in the Trusted Choice Big I National Championships.
