Spring: Played in two events during the spring season, once as an individual, before COVID-19 (coronavirus) canceled the rest of the season ... Competed as an individual at the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational, tying for 10th of 87 competitors at 5-over 221 ... Was apart of the starting 5 at the Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic, where he tied for 55th at 6-over 222.
Fall: Played in three tournaments with one start on the team ... Posted a fall scoring average of 70.75, the fourth-best mark on the team ... Opened the fall campaign by tying for fifth as an individual at the Olympic College Invitational at 2-over 146 over the rain-shortened event ... Tied for 17th at 6-under 207 as an individual at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational ... The 207 was a collegiate career low, as was his 4-under 67 in the final round ... Tied for 19th as a starting member at the Bill Cullum Invitational, firing a 3-under 213 with rounds of 70, 71 and 72.
2018-19 (As a Junior)
Played in five tournaments including, three individually in his first season for the Aztecs … Had a scoring average 73.27 in 15 rounds … Best performance of the season was two seventh-place finishes at the Pioneer Creek Collegiate and The Farms Invitational where he shot 1-under 215 and 2-over 218, respectively.
AT SOUTH CAROLINA BEAUFORT: Played two seasons at the University of South Carolina Beaufort, where he garnered first-team NAIA All-America accolades as a sophomore and was a semifinalist for the NAIA Jack Nicklaus Award … Also drew consideration for the 2018 Arnold Palmer Cup … Led the Sand Sharks to the 2018 Sun Conference Championship with a third-place individual finish at 3-under 213 … Also helped USCB to an 11th-place standing at the NAIA Championships that season ... Received Sun Conference Player of the Week recognition on seven occasions and was twice named his team’s Most Valuable Player … Merited third-team NAIA All-America distinction in 2017 and collected NAIA all-freshman honors … Has posted nine top-three finishes as a collegian, including a trio of individual crowns … Emerged triumphant at the 2017 Thomas University Fall Invitational in Valdosta, Ga., before winning the team’s own Sand Shark Classic for the second year in a row last March.
