Appeared in six tournaments, earning a starting nod on three occasions ... Finished with a 75.56 scoring average in 18 completed rounds while compiling three top-30 finishes.
Spring: Tied for 45th in his first start of the year at the Arizona Intercollegiate, where he posted a 14-over 227 ... Shot a season-low 70 in the second round (Jan. 29-30) ... Led a group of four Aztec individuals at The Farms Invitational, carding a season-best 5-over 221 to tie for 20th (Feb. 12-13) ... Recorded an 18-over 234 in his second start at the Southwestern Invitational to tie for the 56th position (Feb. 26-27) ... Participated as an unattached golfer at SDSU’s own Lamkin San Diego Classic, where he tied for 27th at 8-over 224 (March 12-13) ... Helped the Aztecs a third-place tie in the team standings at the Western Intercollegiate, carding a 13-over 223 to tie for 72nd on the leaderboard (April 7-8).
Fall: Tied for 21st in his lone event of the semester at the Gopher Individual after logging a 15-over 231 (Sept. 9-10).
2016-17 Season (As A Sophomore)
Competed in a career-high seven events during his sophomore campaign ... Averaged 74.95 strokes in 21 rounds.
Spring: Compiled a 76.25 scoring average in four tournaments ... Opened the spring as an individual competitor at The Prestige at PGA West, tying for 49th after shooting an 11-over 224 (Feb. 20-22) ... Also played unattached at the Southwestern Invitational, where he tied for 48th with a 10-over 226 (Feb. 27-28) ... Cracked the starting five for the first time as an Aztec at the Southern Highlands Collegiate, posting a 237 (+21) to tie for 75th (March 6-7) ... Drew another starting assignment in his final appearance of the year at the Lamkin San Diego Classic, where he tied for 69th at 12-over 228 (March 13-14).
Fall: Participated as an individual in three events, finishing with a 73.22 stroke average ... Turned in a seventh-place effort at the Gopher Individual tournament, posting an even-par 216 (Sept. 10-11) ... Followed with a 1-over 214 at the Alister Mackenzie Invitational, where he tied for 48th ... Matched his season best with consecutive 71s in the first two rounds (Oct. 10-11) ... Ended the semester in tie for 52nd at the Saint Mary’s Invitational in Pebble Beach after carding a 16-over 229 (Oct. 24-26).
Summer 2016
Played in two Audi Finnish Tour events, landing in the runner-up position at the Peuramaa Golf tournament, where he was the top amateur after firing an even-par 216 ... Also landed in the 11th spot at the Paltamo Open with a 2-over 218.
2015-16 Season (As A Freshman)
Logged two top-15 finishes in five tournament appearances as an unattached golfer during his first season on The Mesa ... Posted a 76.13 scoring average in 15 rounds played.
Spring: Saw action in four events ... Recorded his highest finish of the year at the Carlton Oaks WIU Invitational, tying for 12th with an 11-over 227 (Feb. 15-16).
Fall: Made his collegiate debut at the Cal State San Marcos Fall Classic, where he shot an even-par 216 to tie for 13th place ... Fired a season-low 70 in the final round (Oct. 25-26).
As A Junior Golfer
Excelled on the European stage prior to his arrival at San Diego State, tying for the eighth position at the 2015 Master Promo Championship in Naantali, Finland, where he was the third-highest finishing amateur after recording a 4-under 212 ... Also wound up in the eighth spot later that summer at the Finnish Amateur Championship with a similar card of 1-under 212 ... Placed second at the Finnish International Junior Under-18 tournament in June of 2013, followed by a third-place tie three months later at the European Boy's Challenge in Skalica, Slovakia ... Landed in a four-way tie for the sixth position that same year at the Sir Henry Cooper Junior Masters in Kent, England ... Has also made his presence felt in junior competition around Southern California, highlighted by a seventh-place tie at the 2013 San Diego Junior Amateur Championships at Steele Canyon Golf Club ... Tied for eighth at the 2014 Future Champions Golf (FCG) Western States Players Cup at Menifee Lakes Country Club before finishing in the ninth spot at the AJGA Junior at River Ridge Golf Club in Oxnard.
As A Prep
Garnered first-team all-section honors by the San Diego Hall of Champions after helping Torrey Pines High School capture a record fifth consecutive CIF San Diego Section championship at Admiral Baker Golf Course during his junior campaign in 2014 ... Was part of a Falcon squad that established a CIF record with a 10-under par 710 and was one of four Torrey Pines players to finish the tournament below par, tying for fifth on the individual leaderboard with a 3-under 141.
