Finished with a 73.23 stroke average in 10 tournaments ... Logged six rounds below par, including four in the 60s ... Recorded four top-20 placements.
Spring: Started the last four events of the year after nursing a sore foot earlier in the spring ... Had three of four rounds count toward the Aztecs' team score at the NCAA Championships, where he tied for 74th with a combined 19-over 307 (May 29-June 1) ... Was one of three SDSU golfers to finish in the top 20 at the NCAA New Haven Regional, tying for 17th at 1-over 211 to help the Scarlet and Black clinch a spot in the national championships (May 14-16) ... Appeared in the MW tournament for third straight season, landing in a tie for the 24th position with a combined 5-over 218 (May 1-3) ... Also cracked the starting lineup at the Western Intercollegiate (April 11-12) and Lamkin San Diego Classic (March 9-10) ... Notched his lowest score in relation to par as a collegian with a 6-under 210 at the Aztecs' own Barona Collegiate Cup where he tied for 10th as an unattached golfer (Feb. 9-10).
Fall: Earned a starting assignment in all four tournaments ... Was SDSU's No. 1 finisher at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational where he tied for fourth at 4-under 209 on the strength of consecutive 68s in the first two rounds (Oct. 13-14) ... Shared the team's top spot with Xander Schauffele at the season-opening Southwestern Intercollegiate after tying for 18th at 7-over 220 (Sept. 8-9) ... Tied for 25th at the William H. Tucker Invitational with a combined 6-over 222 (Sept. 27-28) ... Matched the Aztecs' second-lowest round at the Husky Invitational, carding a 71 over the final 18 holes to help the Scarlet and Black to a third-place finish (Sept. 22-23).
2013-14 Season (As A Sophomore)
Received all-Mountain West accolades during his second season on The Mesa ... Posted a 72.88 stroke average, which ranked 12th in the conference ... Recorded three top-10 finishes on the year ... Ranked third on the squad with nine rounds below par.
Spring: Logged a 72.44 scoring average in all nine of the Aztecs' scheduled events, which ranked second on the squad ... Recorded his highest collegiate finish at the Mountain West Championship, tying for first place with New Mexico's Gavin Green at 4-under 209 before falling on the first playoff hole in sudden death (April 25-27) ... Shot a season-low 68 during the opening round ... Turned in a runner-up performance at the Jones Invitational, carding 1-over 217 to lead SDSU to its lone team title of the season (Feb. 24-25) ... Was also the Aztecs' top golfer at The Goodwin tournament in Stanford, California, where he fired a collective 5-over 215 to tie for the 34th position (March 28-30) ... Tied for the 10th spot at the highly competitive Texas A&M Aggie Invitational after shooting an 8-over 224 (April 5-6) ... Made his second straight postseason appearance at the NCAA Columbia Regional where he registered a 3-over 219 to tie for 38th place (May 15-17).
Fall: Participated in two of the team's three fall tournaments ... Posted his second-lowest score in relation to par for the season at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational after carding a 2-under 214 to tie for the 18th position (Oct. 13-14) ... Made his season debut at the William H. Tucker Invitational in New Mexico, tying for 65th with a combined 235 (Sept. 27-28).
2012-13 Season (As A Freshman)
Became the second Aztec men's golfer to earn Mountain West Freshman of the Year honors after posting a 72.63 stroke average for the season, which ranked 13th overall in the conference ... Finished third on the squad with five top-20 finishes, including a pair of top 10s ... Cracked the starting lineup in all 13 of SDSU's scheduled events, totaling six rounds in the 60s.
Spring: Posted an average score of 72.67 in 27 rounds during the spring schedule ... Was the Aztecs' top finisher in four tournaments, including back-to-back efforts at The Prestige (T33rd - 220 (+7)) (Feb. 11-12) and the North Ranch Intercollegiate where he registered his first top-10 performance as a collegian (T7th - 218 (+5)) (March 7-8) ... Helped SDSU capture the team title at its own Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic with an 8-over 224 to tie for 37th ... Sank six birdies and an eagle en route to consecutive rounds of 68-69 during the first day of the Western Intercollegiate, eventually tying for 17th at 215 (April 13-14) ... Recorded his highest finish of the year at the Mountain West Championships, leading SDSU with a fourth-place showing after logging a season-best 3-under 210 (May 3-5) ... Capped off the year with another strong effort at the NCAA Pullman Regional, topping the squad with a collective 4-under 212, highlighted by a season-low 67 during the first round, en route to a 16th-place finish.
Fall: Saw action in all four of the Aztecs' scheduled tournaments during the fall slate, logging a 72.45 stroke average ... Had all of his 11 completed rounds count toward SDSU's team score ... Tied for 22nd in his first collegiate event at the Kikkor Golf Husky Invitational after shooting a combined 7-over 223 (Sept. 17-18) ... Recorded his first top-20 finish for the Scarlet and Black, tying for the 12th position at the PING/Golfweek Challenge (Sept. 24-25) ... Was the Aztecs' No. 3 finisher at the Alister Mackenzie Invitational where he tied for 45th at 4-over 217 ... Also competed at the St. Regis Princeville Warrior Wave Invitational (Nov. 4-5).
Prior to College
Prepped at Sotogrande International School in Cadiz, Spain, where he played golf for coach Jason Floyd ... Has competed in over 20 events worldwide as a member of the Italian national team ... Won the 2013 South of England Amateur Open championship in July after carding a four-round total of 285 ... Also captured the Italian Match Play title in 2010.
