2013-14 Season (As A Junior)
Received his second varsity letter on The Mesa after participating in nine tournaments ... Finished with a 75.30 stroke average ... Earned a spot on the Mountain West all-academic team following the spring semester.
Spring: Captured his first collegiate individual title at the WIU/Carlton Oaks Invitational where he shot a combined 4-over 220 as an unattached golfer (Feb. 10-11) ... Shot a season-low 71 during the final round to clinch the victory ... Saw action as an individual competitor in three additional events ... Registered his third-best finish of the year after tying for the 19th spot at the Jones Invitational with a 10-over 226 (Feb. 24-25) ... Also participated at the Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic, where he tied for 52nd with a 231 (March 10-11), followed by a 33rd-place effort at 233 in the Aggie Invitational (April 5-6) ... Earned a starting assignment in the final three events of the year ... Had all three of his rounds count toward SDSU[apos]s team score at the Western Intercollegiate, helping the Scarlet and Black to a solid fourth-place showing (April 12-13) ... Was one of four Aztecs to crack the top 20 at the MW Championship, tying for the 15th position with a collective 4-over 217 (April 25-27) ... Concluded the year with his second straight appearance at the NCAA regionals, finishing in 56th with a 10-over 226 (May 15-17).
Fall: Played in two of the team[apos]s three events during the fall slate ... Started the season-opener at the Kikkor Golf Husky Invitational, tying for 57th at 12-over 228 (Sept. 16-17) ... Also landed in a tie for 40th as an individual at the William H. Tucker Invite in New Mexico with a 230 (Sept. 27-28).
2012-13 Season (As A Sophomore)
Earned his first varsity letter, competing in eight events for the Aztecs after transferring from College of the Canyons ... Finished sixth on the squad with a 74.33 stroke average.
Spring: Made his spring debut at the North Ranch Intercollegiate, landing in a tie for 26th after carding a collective 224, including back-to-back 73s over the first two rounds (Feb. 25-26) ... Logged a top-20 performance as unattached player at the Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic, tying for 16th with a combined 4-over 220, which featured four birdies during the final round (March 11-12) ... Recorded his highest finish of the year at the Mountain West Championships, where he tied for the 13th spot at 3-over 216, as all three of his rounds counted toward SDSU[apos]s team score (May 3-5) ... Posted his lowest score of the season with an opening-round 66 at the NCAA Pullman Regional, where finished as the Aztecs[apos] No. 3 golfer at even-par 216 to tie for the 37th position (May 16-18).
Fall: Received his first collegiate start at the Kikkor Golf Husky Invitational, tying for 51st with a collective 232 (Sept. 17-18).
2011-12 Season
Spring: Sat out as a redshirt after enrolling at SDSU prior to the start of the 2012 spring semester.
Junior College
Played one season at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, Calif. ... Received all-conference recognition in his lone campaign with the Cougars, carding a season stroke average of 73.63 and helping the squad to a league title to go with a fifth-place standing at the Southern California championships ... Claimed medalist honors at the San Clemente City Amateur in mid-October and won the Simi Valley City Championship in late August with a 36-hole score of 132, including a final-round 65 ... Tied for second at the Santa Barbara County Golf Championship at La Purisima Golf Course, Oct. 22-23, with a 152.
High School
Graduated from Chatsworth High in 2010 ... Lettered three times in golf for head coach Ed Parker and twice served as team captain ... Earned all-CIF honors and was an all-West Valley League selection
Personal
Son of Jim and Melissa Holley ... Father was a professional motocross racer and was the first-ever World Supercross Champion in 1985 ... Majoring in business administration.
