Spring: Had the team[apos]s second-lowest stroke average of the spring at 72.00, but that was in only four of the eight total events ... Tied for 15th at the Battle At The Beach in mid-February with a 1-under 212, including a final-round 67 ... Team[apos]s No. 2 golfer at the USC Invitational, where he tied for 41st place ... Top finish of the season at the Barona Collegiate Cup, tying for 14th at 2-over 218 ... Did not play in the team[apos]s remaining five tournaments.

Fall: Tied for 33rd place at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate and tied for 57th at the Olympia Field/Fighting Illini Invite ... Low round was a 71 in Albuquerque.

2008-09 Season
Competed in 11 of the 13 total tournaments ... Boasted the fourth-best season stroke average of 72.87 ... Had six top-20 finishes, including three in the top five and three in the top 10 ... Recorded 12 rebounds at or below par with seven of those in the 60s.

Spring: Competed in 22 of the 25 total rounds, recording the third-best stroke average of the spring campaign at 72.86 ... His three, top-five finishes were the most of anyone on the team ... Runner-up at the Arizona Invitational in early February, posting three straight rounds in the 60s to finish at 9-under 204 ... Tied for third at the annual Barona Collegiate Cup in Lakeside, ending up at 7-under 209 ... SDSU[apos]s No. 2 finisher at the Callaway Collegiate Match Play, tying for 14th at the 36-hole event ... Had another top-five performance (t-4th) to round out the regular season at the rain-shortened Aggie Invitational in Bryan, Texas ... Became the first Aztec golfer to capture Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year accolades ... Cracked the starting lineup in all 15 tournaments ... Finished second on the squad with a 72.83 stroke average.

Spring: Second on the team with a 72.10 stroke average through 10 events ... Posted his first collegiate top-10 finish after tying for seventh at the PING Arizona Intercollegiate with a combined 5-under 208 ... Tied teammate Jamie Puterbaugh for third place at the all-city SDSU Intercollegiate Classic ... Shot a pair of 69s over the final two rounds of the John Burns Intercollegiate to finish in a tie for 10th at 8-under 208 ... Came away with his highest finish as an Aztec at the Fresno State Lexus Classic, tying for first place with a collegiate-best 9-under 207... Also established a new standard during the final round of SDSU[apos]s Barona Collegiate Cup, carding a career-low 65 en route to a 17th-place showing of 1-under 215 ... Tied for 11th along with teammate Aaron Goldberg at the Oregon Duck Invitational with a combined 5-over 221 to help the Aztecs capture their third team title of the season ... Was SDSU[apos]s top finisher at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational after tying for 14th with a 2-over 213 ... Also posted the Aztecs lowest score at the U.S. Intercollegiate, shooting a 3-over 213 to tie for 13th ... Recorded SDSU[apos]s second-lowest score during the final round of the MWC Championships with an even-par 71 ... Tied for 26th at the event with a combined 7-over 220 ... Won the Southwestern Amateur Championship at the Twin Warriors Golf Club in Santa Ana Pueblo, N.M., by overcoming a three-stroke deficit to finish at 5-under 283 in June ... Reached the semifinals of the 97th California Amateur Championship at Lakeside Golf Club in Toluca Lake, Calif. ... Was a 2008 SCGA match play champion and Cal State amateur stroke play medalist.

Fall: Saw action in all four tournaments in his first semester on Montezuma Mesa ... Began his Aztec career by tying for 19th at the William H. Tucker Invitational after carding a 5-over 221 ... Had both rounds count towards the team score at the rain-shortened Husky Invitational ... Helped the Scarlet and Black capture the team title at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational after shooting a 1-under 212 ... Also competed at the inaugural Sycuan Collegiate Invitational.
