Fall (05): Mountain West Conference co-golfer of the month for November, after finishing the fall portion with a co-medalist honors at the UH Fall Intercollegiate, a top-10 finish at the Fresno State Lexus Classic and a top-20 finish at the Club Glove Intercollegiate...Out of 15 rounds played, 14 of Scott[apos]s rounds have counted towards the final team score, earning a .933 percent average in that category...Currently ranked in Golfweek/Sagarin[apos]s top-150 collegiate golfers in the nation...Completed the fall season with two rounds in the 60s, two sub-par rounds and two even par rounds...Scott has played in all five fall tournaments.
As A Junior (2004-05)
Fall (04): Had a strong fall and ended the season with a stroke average of 72.92, second only to Aaron Choi...Was second at the Fresno State Lexus with an 11-under 205...That total included the low round of the fall by an Aztec and the best of his career when he opened the tournament with a 66...At SDSU[apos]s Barona Collegiate Cup, he carded three straight 71s to finish three-under for the event (27thT).
As A Sophomore (2003-04 Season)
Fall ([apos]03): Recorded the Aztecs[apos] best score of the season with an 11-under 205 at the Fresno Lexus Classic and placed second overall, the fifth top-10 finish of his career... Tied the SDSU low for a round with a 66 in the second round in Fresno, which followed an opening round 69... Finished the year by leading SDSU for the second straight tournament as he posted a three-under 213 at the Barona Collegiate Cup to finish 25th... Played nine rounds and three tournaments and ended with a 72.22 scoring average, which ranked fourth for the Aztecs... Posted an 89% count average with eight of his nine rounds added to the team total.
Spring (04): Was fourth on the squad with 15 rounds in the fall and finished third on the team with a stroke average of 73.6...Had a pair of top 20 finishes, including 11th at the Mountain West Championship (75-73-73)...Shot an even-par total of 216 at the ASU Thunderbird...Low round for the spring was a 71 (on three occasions).
As A Redshirt Freshman (2002-03 Season)
Fall ([apos]02): Debuted in the Aztec lineup with the lowest stroke average among regulars (72.53) and a team-high three top-20 finishes in the fall... Also led the team by counting 14-of-15 rounds among the Aztecs[apos] low four and had seven rounds of par or better... After recording a 46th-place finish in his first collegiate event at the Tucker Intercollegiate, followed up with three consecutive top-20 results, including two in the same week... Carded the first of two top-10 finishes in the fall at the Wolf Pack Classic with a tie for ninth place at 3-under 213... Four days later, earned a 14th-place tie at the Fresno Lexus Classic with a 2-over 218... Best result of the season came at the Barona Collegiate Cup, where he shot 70-72-69 and tied for eighth... His 5-under 211 total helped propel the Aztecs to their third-best all-time score (846) and the team title at Barona... Racked up 10 victories over Golfweek/Sagarin top 100-ranked golfers in the fall... Recorded the Aztecs[apos] top or second-best score in 4-of-5 events.
Spring ([apos]03): Earned his first collegiate tournament victory at the Southern California Intercollegiate as he fired a two-under 211, including second and third rounds of 69... Finished fourth at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic with a score of eight-over 218... Posted five scores under 70 during the year... Ended his first year of action with a 74.00 stroke average in 33 rounds and tallied an .875 count percentage... Earned a spot in the starting five for the NCAA Championships.
